The onion rings were very good! Crab cake sandwich is full of crab and light on filler. While the sandwich was good, the sauce that came with it was NOT! I opted for a squeeze of lemon. We tried the She Crab soup but it...was cold and not very good.More

Nice restaurant/bar that has something for everyone. Inside and outside seating. A bar. Good Irish food and American food and ambiance.

It’s September of 2020 so we went to Kelly’s because we could eat outside, however the flies were terrible on this night. We had read this in another reviews but decided to take our chances. We ordered but decided to change to take out. Glad...we did this and not simply go elsewhere because the food was delicious and the server completely understanding. We ordered the steam spiced shrimp and Caesar Salad. Both were perfect. Don’t miss Kelly’s but check for flies before you decide eat in or take out. Cooler weather may help!More

We were advised to dine inside because of a fly problem outside and after reading the most recent reviews, I'm glad we took the advice. Kelly's had a cool vibe inside with a nice bar area. Tables were spread out nicely due to COVID regulations...and we managed to get a table inside what appeared to be an old bank vault. The fish tacos were really good and after spending the day outside in the heat of Kiptopeke a nice Smithwicks topped off the day.More

First, we went into Tim's and it looked ominous, so we left and ended up at Kelly's. Super glad we did. We ended up sitting outside, and they warned us the flies were bad outside, but, what they didn't think we realized, is that the...flies were bad inside too. Anyhow, our server was super friendly and the food was awesome. Very happy we stopped there and will be back. If only the flies aren't there this time. Everyone enjoyed their meals.More

We left Chincoteague, VA and headed home the long way to check out some of the eastern shore. We stopped in Cape Charles to look around and had lunch here. It did not disappoint. My wife had the Bangers an mash, I had the Corned...Beef Reuben and my son a Grown up Grilled Cheese. All were very good. The service was good also my only knock on the place is they had too many flies hanging around. Not sure if it was due to the rain or the overall area. The restaurant itself was clean.More

Visiting from out of town, not a lot of restaurants in the area. This place is fly infested!!! The window we were seated at, were full of flies. Behind the bar was a fly trap in the sink, again full of flies. The waitress in...back was eating fries off of someone’s plate. We refused to eat and left immediately.More

Food was exceptional and the setting in an historic bank was noteworthy. Staff were friendly and very professional during this pandemic.

This spot is so cozy and relaxed, it’s like being in the best seat every time you go. The food and service are exceptional and the beer .... my-oh-my it’s like no other. So good! The portions are huge and the servers are so fun...and sweet! We had the best time at this restaurant, I highly recommend it! Oh and the bathrooms are really clean and styled nicely.More

I’ve had a few inquiries asking how I review all these cool restaurants but never a hotel. My reply is simple. We travel the massive Chesapeake Bay in our TrawlerCat Catamaran and have the luxury of dining at many great restaurants and then return to...our boat for the night. Kelly’s tonight was a great discovery. A cool little restaurant/bar in the town of Cape Charles. The bartender is a real character who is a transplant from New York 14 years ago. Sit at the bar and you’ll love conversing with him. My creative wife ordered a salad with a crab cake piled on top. I ordered the wings that they are truly renowned for. Both entree’s were delicious. The servings are monstrous and the libations are not stingy. Enjoy!More

I don't know about inside - saw no pets - but most of the places there have an outdoor eating area and bringing pets to an outdoor eating area is pretty common in Virginia.
