Family owned and operated; they always provide a warm and welcoming environment. Great soul food! You can't go wrong with their jerk chicken and collard greens!

If it weren't for Tripadvisor we would have never found EATZ. The food here is amazing. Between the four of us we had both the ribs and fried chicken. If you want GREAT home cooked food, EATZ is your place.

Visited at lunch today after reading the reviews. It was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Explained that I was gluten free and he gave me several recommendations. I had the jerk chicken. Hubby had fried chicken. Son had meatloaf. Best we had had in ages. Staff explained 95% is made from scratch. Wish we had more time in... More

Tried this restaurant out after eating their food that was catered. Wow. Reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. And their fried catfish with cornbread will make your tongue beat your brains out. Very nice owners also.

The fried chicken is King! Best I've ever had. Sides are excellent too . Had the BBQ beans and collards. Make sure you try the banana pudding. Will definitely stop the next time we pass this way.

Catfish, beans, cornbread, greens, chicken all fantastic! Kind of small so it's first come first serve, but worth it.

The food is delicious and most definitely southern. The fried chicken melts in your mouth. The vegetables are great also.

This was my second time at Eatz, and the chicken was as delicious as it was the first time. They absolutely know how to fry chicken! The cornbread passed my granddaughter`s test, and she normally does not eat cornbread in restaurants. The service is friendly and the surroundings are comfortable. Great french fries too.

We decided to take a chance on this wonderful little treasure in Bristol, Va., and are we ever glad we did! We both had their friend chicken, Mac and cheese, and slaw, served with a corn bread muffin. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and was hot out of the fryer. The Mac and cheese and the slaw were the... More

First time eating here. Looking forward to more meals here! Had the ribs and fried chicken and both were stellar. If your mom was a really good cook and of course you probably have fond memories of certain things she made, this restaurant is like going home. The owners son was our server. He was so sweet, very efficient. We... More
