Once again the wife and I were out for a meal. We have been seeing TV ads for this place and the food looked great. It’s a little place on a side street in Bristol, but a 5:00 pm it was already completely filled for...More

I met my motorcycle group here for our Thursday dinner ride. Tried the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and bbq beans. Meatloaf was tender, flavorful and juicy. Beans and potatoes were also excellent. The owner was there and came out and talked with us for a few...More

Small family owned restaurant with fresh home cooked meals. From BBQ to chicken and fish, there should be something for everyone. Their vegetable options are broad and tasty as well. I particularly liked the pinto beans with warm cornbread. We did not try the banana...More

I have known this family for years, they make quality food, work hard, and a lot of soulful southern taste in every dish. Sometimes limited menu because they run out of popular entrees. Definitely a hidden gem. Off the main road, limited parking. Not great...More

A simple, small restaurant with soul food! The waiter was very good and the food was home style soul food. Very clean and just an all around good visit. The fried chicken was lightly fried and not something that you will find at the chain...More

Visited Bristol, VA for a second time. We would not go thru Bristol without having a meal at Eatz. Great food cooked like Grandma cooked. The catfish and chicken is a real treat! Looking forward to our next time.

Great food at reasonable prices. From the cornbread to the must try catfish you are in for a treat. You may find it odd that the fries are an upgrade side with perfectly seasoned collard greens, bbq beans, or baked Mac and cheese on the...More

Quite the labyrinth of one way streets and no turn signs. But we persevered and it was worth it. BBQ pork sandwich was excellent and different from most. Mac and cheese was strangely sweet but it grew on me. Service was good and attentive. Ribs...More

Went to Eatz while visiting Bristol. Was recommended as a nice family place with good comfort food! My wife and I both had the catfish. She had corn bread and I had fries. Catch fish was wonderful, the cornbread very moist and fries were home...More

My husband had the barbecued platter, which he liked very much. I love catfish and theirs was good. The coleslaw was different but very good. We had banana pudding and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Both were yummy. The service was excellent! I would comeback.
