We believe that the Soup and Salad option is one of the best at the Cellar, and we think it has gotten better. Are those bigger plates than they used before? Are those bigger bowls? They sure look bigger. More salad, ... more soup, ... same price. We are keeping on going back!

Been in bburg forever! Great local hangout. Discovered the works pizza 35 years ago and still my favorite. Wish parking was easier and reservations were an option! Would eat here weekly if easier to access.

The Cellar is one of my favorite restaurants in Blacksburg. Family friendly and clean with plenty of outdoor seating, we enjoy eating here. The food is always great and there is a nice beer selection. The service is usually very friendly. The only negative is that the food can take a while once you have ordered. We also enjoy the... This restaurant is considered a "must visit" while in Blacksburg. Portions are very large, especially the Calzones.

After years away from college, I went to a reunion. A group of us decided to meet their for drinks and snacks. I think there must have been twelve or fifteen of us, and they pushed some tables together, took our orders and were back very quickly with our drinks. A few of us had food, appetizers and they were delightful... More

We arrived on Homecoming Saturday evening and as expected it was packed and the wait staff were hustling. I'm not a fan of the "first come first served" seating situation and we felt like vultures hanging around other diners waiting for them to finish so we could grab their table as they left, and I was getting the feeling that... In downtown Blacksburg just a short walk to campus. Lively atmosphere especially on a football weekend. All 5 of us enjoyed our food and drinks. Very reasonable prices on food and drinks.

We were visiting our granddaughter at Virginia Tech and she suggested The Cellar for lunch. We visited on a Saturday afternoon when Tech was playing away. The place was hopping and full of students and families. College games were on the TV's. The wait staff were friendly and welcoming, even though very busy. The interior is somewhat rustic and pub-like... More

Lets be clear. College town on a football weekend. We are from out of town and hungry... and we know food. Five of us stopped in late in the afternoon for a late lunch. The place was crowded and it took a while to get served but it was well worth the wait. The only thing we could agree upon... More

This place is cool! If first hit the 6 pack store. You can pretty much buy any assortment of beers from a world class stock of craft beers and you don't have to get a full 6 pack you can choose any umber from 1 to thousands of beers. I visited the restaurant/bar several times. I tried the lasagne and... More
