This is one of our favorite restaurants in Blacksburg! Whether you order one of the specials, or off the regular menu - you can't go wrong - everything is good! Had the chicken pie off the special menu and it was excellent. The side salad that came with it was almost a mean in itself! One time we did visit,... More

Very nice restaurant with great food! We ordered a pineapple pizza and a baby back rib during lunch special hour. The food is really great with large portion. I love the curly fries as well. We couldn't finish the food at the end. The 6 dollar pizza with drink included is the best lunch offer for students at vt and... More

Great restaurant in Blackburg and favorite of students and parents. We usually eat upstairs but went to the basement (Cellar) for the first time because it was busy for graduation weekend. Upstairs is kind of loud and fun, but downstairs is has very cool atmosphere. Gluten free pizza is really good. The rest of the food looks really good too.

Maybe it was the day I went, the waitress I had or I was just 'in a hurry' but service seemed a bit slow and the waitress was more interested in other issues than in helping me to know what to try or what was on the menu/offer a suggestion. I got a Greek salad and it was good, the... More

It is nice to have a restaurant that has Greek style food. It is a change of pace and I love their chicken kabobs and their specials. On Sunday, they have half price international beers. Their draft selections are great too. If one doesn't strike your fancy, they have a wide selection of bottled beer too. Friendly staff. Portions are... More

We ate here the other day after not visiting since we graduated years ago. The staff was very friendly. But the food took forever to get their. What we expected to be a quick lunch turning into a couple of hours, with one of the entrees coming out twenty minutes after everyone else's food. Dog friendly in the outside eating... More

About 15 of us went to the Cellar for a celebration over the weekend, and we called ahead to see if staff would reserve a large table or two for us. As requested, the staff reserved the perfect amount of seating for us. We ordered a couple of pizzas for everyone to have as "appetizers" and both pizzas were very... More

My wife and I always enjoy the Cellar. Tonight was certainly no exception. My wife chose Greek Moussaka. It was described as traditional, lasagna-like casserole. The dish consisted of eggplant pan fried in olive oil, layered between ground beef & stewed veggies in a spiced red wine sauce, topped with savory, cheesy custard. It was simply delicious. The sauce was... More
