Everybody knows the Cellar, known to old-timers as "The Greeks" . Good food and drink at a reasonable price. Pizza and calzones are great. Indoor is usually crowded and loud, outside its quieter and also crowded. If you want to experience what your kids like in Blacksburg when they are not being too wild, go to the Cellar.

Good tasting vegetarian options. Reasonable prices. Good beer on tap. Basement is a different atmosphere than the main floor.

We picked this restaurant for dinner solely because it allows dogs in the outside seating area. That said, we were pleasantly surprised that the food was rather good. The menu is extensive; we ordered a steak salad, chili soup, a pasta dish and a lamb gyro. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. Our waitress was friendly even though she was... More

We had a wonderful Greek salad in late afternoon in the late afternoon and then went back for pizza in the late evening. Both experiences were excellent. Service was good. Atmosphere was all that a pub in a University town should be.

We were first timers here but would come back again if we were on the area. The crab cakes were a solid 10.

Friendly staff, seating is first come first serve. Live music some nights (tonight was jazz), neat ambiance. Very good pizza (pita size is ideal for one person). Very good side salads as well. Free street parking after 5 and weekends. Walk out through the 6-pak store and browse the large beer selection.

Yes, we had to wait for a table as this is a 'seat yourself' restaurant and it being Saturday lunch time on graduation weekend but the 20-30 minute wait outdoors was worth it. Luckily we got an indoor table and our server couldn't not have been more pleasant and attentive. Three out of five peeps ordered sandwiches and I ordered... More

My VA Tech daughter took me here during a visit. I liked the beer selection but not the crowd and not the extra grease that came with my grilled sandwich. Still, it strangely satisfied.

This is sort of Blacksburg's hidden spot. Do not be fooled by the unassuming exterior - there are great eats in here! The Pita Pizza is very tasty and the salads and sandwiches a great choice. When we have guests we always take them to the Cellar and sit in the outside café area so they can experience the good... More

Stopped in for lunch before a college visit. Terrible service! Waited 10 minutes just to see a waitress & another 15 minutes for drinks. Salads never came nor did the bread with the Greek salad. Food was so so. She never came back for drink refills. Every other table around us having service issues as well including having their credit... More
