Food and ambience

A magnificent 1900 train station that welcomed the likes of President Roosevelt, Maxfield Parish, JD Salinger, Maxwell Perkins and many more prominent historical figures. Now it's the place to be in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. The menu has everything you are looking for, steak, pastas, seafood, and burgers. The Barroom hosts 10 taps constantly rotating the greatest beers you can drink in Vermont. Professionally prepared craft cocktails featuring local Vermont spirits. We hope to meet you soon. Cheers!

Great food! Made a dinner of appetizors — meatballs with riccotta, brushetta, fabulous tasty salads. Superior friendly service! Atmosphere of an old train station is welcoming and warm. Even the background music tracks were an addition to our enjoyment.

We kind of stumbled upon this delight when we were on an anniversary trip to VT, and we are so glad we did! We ate there two nights in a row, then they were closed the other two nights we were in town. Christen was...our server and she was a star! Very friendly and great service. Atmosphere being in the original train station was decorated with old luggage and trunks - very cool. We had the blackened salmon and coastal pasta the first night. Both dishes were amazing! And enough for leftovers the next day for lunch. They also have a great beer selection on tap, and special cocktails, wine. The next night Mike was our server (also great) - we had chicken wings - big and tasty, and the mussels appetizer with garlic baguettes - great. The next time we are in the area we will go back.More

First couple of times there very crowded. No attempt to seat us or even pay attention to four people standing there. WE left. Now Covid 19. They wont let you drink a beer on the patio because the government says you have to eat food....I won't eat because the government says I have to eat. The management backs the government. Very nice atmosphere, but that is about it. We have been here in the past with a corporate group, it was ok then. We went back to try it again. We will not make that mistake again. I had fish and chips, the same as...when I was with the group. With the group it was great best ever. Last night it was slimy, with a greasy taste. The haddock was also under cooked. They serve the meal in a bowl. With the fish and French fries draining the grease I could have made gravy. The topper was $18.75 for 1 Manhattan from the bar. The wait person wasn’t very sympathetic, but did get the manager. We will never go back!!More

we really do not take too kindly to rude drunk customers who swear at our staff like they are servants. You ordered a Whistlepig manhattan, which is cheap at $18.75, we should have charged you 25$ for your attitude.

This was a great stop. Awesome restaurant in a restored train station. Food was great, service was awesome and we caught a great band on Friday night. Bonus was a train that came by once in a while outside adding to the train station aura.

Windsor Station has a unique menu suitable for different types of foodies. Their veggie risotto is delicious. Glad they have a few good options for vegetarians.
