Getting a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich this morning at 8am at The White House was a big problem for the staff. There wasn't a guest around and I see why. Who would want to inconvenience the staff or at least I felt that way. So I drive done to Dot's restaurant in town. Wonderful place. Maybe I... More

Beautiful setting and fun menu. Best food we've had in this area. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. Friendly staff.

The White House Inn is a beautiful facility. We didn't stay there, but went for dinner with friends. We were disappointed in the menu selections. Basically, they offer pub fare (plus sushi) with a very limited selection of dining entrees. The White House used to be a place for fine dining and now is a place for excellent burgers. But... More

The dining was superb. The chef has classical training and the palette was so pleased! Exec Chef Chris is so talented! Try the ribs for dinner and eggs beni for breakfast!

The renovations are incredible and the grounds are beautiful and we will eat here again. It's a beautiful spot and the staff were awesome. We didn't really get a big variety of the food they offer but we tried the sliders which gives the opportunity to try a variety of their specialty burgers. There was more greasy bread than burger... We had a wonderful Sunday brunch here. We onion rings that were perfect, followed by melt in your mouth Scottish salmon and then perfect strawberry shortcake with a nice firm biscuit and real cream. Couldn't have been better. The service was great and so was the live music, seemed to be doing James Taylor guitar covers as well. All around... More

We were staying in the inn and this restaurant was just what we needed. We were active during the day and it was nice to finish up the evening with a nightcap and and app or dessert. We went to the restaurant for our anniversary dinner and the service, food, ambiance were all beyond superb. They really take it to... More

From the moment you enter the staff treats you like royalty. Extremely comfortable accommodations. The food is exceptional as are the views. Just down the road from Mt. Snow / Haystack.

I'm hoping that our experience was an unfortunate isolated incident. Perhaps it will prove to be just one bad night. The evening started well - beautiful inn, roaring fire, inviting dining room - but rather disintegrated as our waitress absconded somewhere between the starter and the main course. She apparently just upped and left. Really. Fair enough, had someone explained... More

I have been going to the White House for many years but the food (by Chef Ryan) is better then ever / the service by Robin and the team is spot on perfect. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite restaurants! I rarely endorse anything or anyone like this but felt it was very appropriate. I also... More
