Dropped in here for a meal whilst in town for a couple of days. Restaurant was fully booked (on a Monday) but offered seats in the Bar. We accepted and what a good choice we made. Both the Salmon and Tuna dishes were superb; the...staff really friendly and great service. Only in town one more night, but we booked in advance to make certain we could get in !More

We stopped here for dinner. Luckily made a reservation same day. Had the broiled scallops with garlic linguini. This was probably the best scallops ever! Highly recommend the garlic linguini to roll in that creamy sauce that the scallops were baked in. The squash was...excellent as well, so tasty. The stuffed haddock was excellent. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. Staff were friendly and service was great.More

My husband and friends loved their scallop dishes and I enjoyed the swordfish. The restaurant was somewhat noisy but the noise level was tolerable. I would go there again!

One of the few restaurants open on a Wednesday night in the area. Salad a rolls were average… but the main entree, no thanks. Baked Parmesan Sole was more like diced fish in some kind of cheese sauce and briefly broiled. It resembled a really...wet cheesy omelette. Rice was a good side option, but skip the linguine which was was more like dry spaghetti with not enough garlic and oil. Our server, the infamous Larry, mentioned in other reviews was a real character who did his best to be friendly and efficient but unfortunately the food was not good enough to make me want to return. I’d rather have a McDs fillet of fish sandwich.More

Not many places open on a Sunday, luckily Anchors was. Between the four of us, we had ribs, shrimp and fisherman’s platter. Everyone agreed the food was delicious. Also, we sat upstairs on the outside porch which was nice. The waitstaff was awesome, especially Sarah...- Thanks!More

Very upbeat wait staff was appreciated! Great cold one in a Vermont IPA. Wonderful On to the food - excellent chowder. Very fresh and tasty haddock and shrimp. Linguine sides and salads were nice extras. All around great meal.

Excellent food, reasonable prices, friendly staff - what more could you want? Several dishes were exclaimed as being either as good as ever had, or best ever had.

Had dinner here one night during our snowboard trip at Mt Snow. We arrived around 6pm on a weeknight without reservation but were seated right away! This place sure fill up quick so highly recommended to make reservation if you choose to dine here. The...staffs are really nice and friendly, orders come out pretty quick as well. We had the New England Clam Chowder which was okay, the steamer (special of the night) was not bad. For entree, I had the Sea Scallops and hubby had the Stuffed Shrimp which both were so-so. Overall mediocre food nothing special, but the dessert-homemade carrot cake and tall chocolate cake was pretty good!More

We just had dinner at The Anchor and it was excellent! We were both in the mood for fish and chips - haddock, light batter and very moist, with good fries and coleslaw. Our waitress and the staff were all very nice. Definitely on our...short list for future visits.More

Tried the fried clams and calamari and it was very good. Burger and fries were traditional and tasty. Seafood medley was a star. Very friendly place too!

Far from great seafood. My fish had so much batter, parm and butter I couldn’t taste the fish at all. The people seem nice enough, but all four family members’ dinners were like diner seafood.
