We took a chance of dining here, and were pleasantly surprised. Location: The location is wonderful being right next to a small cafe that serves icecream, and right next to The Vermont Country Store. Atmosphere: I really enjoyed the interior of the building because it retains many historical features and is from the 19'th century. There is an original fountain... More

Went for dinner before we went to the Weston Playhouse. We have been here a long time ago so decided to try it again. The AC wasn't working well and the place was extremely hot. Portions were very small and expensive for what you got although the food itself was good. I actually went across the street to the general... More

It's a nice place with tablecloth and Vermont Country Store tableware. Leaving a copy of the catalog on the table to peruse while waiting for your meal is also a nice touch. The fish and chips looked very traditional. My sister ordered it and I had a bite. When you order potatoes, regular fries or sweet potato, remember this: they... More

We arrived right at their closing time, and they were happy to serve us. In fact, they did not let on that they were supposed to be closed until we were getting ready to leave. Our server, Tami, was delightful and allowed us a leisurely dining experience.

We enjoyed our time here. We were in the barroom area, which was your quintessential old style rustic New England decor experience (dark mahogany panelling, antique bar front, etc). The food was nothing stand out, but if you are looking for a rustic, old New England dining experience, I think it is worth coming to.

Bryant House is run by the Vermont Country Store. It is open more in summer than winter, but offers a nice combination of bar food and good, solid cuisine. It is the only place to eat in the immediate area. They have a nice selection of draft beers, and dining in the bar area. Waitstaff are friendly, locals. They appreciate... More

We stopped in for dinner before attending a show at the playhouse. The staff were super friendly! We sat at the bar and were greeted and served our drinks right away. Our server brought over cranberry scones with maple whipped butter - OMG - amazingly delicious! I ordered the chicken pot pie (large chunks of chicken and fresh vegetables) and... More

We stopped in for lunch after shopping at the Vermont Country Store. We were given a table inside an alcove of windows and it was pleasant seating. The staff was friendly and the service was good. The food came out hot and quickly. I had fish and chips which was a large portion for lunch my wife ordered mac and... More

We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Vermont country store. First of all the staff was great. Very welcoming and attentive. I had the BLT which was loaded with bacon. The bread was fresh and it came with French fries which were wonderful. The service was spot on.

This was a nice break from our "country store" shopping. There was a good mix of menu items, including both light and hearty ones. The fruited chicken salad had a good balance of "sweet and curried," served between two toasted slices of cranberry grain bread with a side of nostalgic pasta salad. Someone else had the traditional chicken pot pie... More
