After seeing a delightful play nearby, I had to eat at the Bryant House. Love it's old world charm and, of course, it's wonderful food. The clam chowder was just the way I like it, not too thick and with those tasty biscuits. The salad with berries was also very tasty and of a good size. The prices are reasonable.... More

I always enjoy eating at the Bryant House. The menu is simple and yet varied, the food is always well-prepared, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

What a find! This restaurant is charming and comfortable and the food is marvelous. We had a late lunch of homemade Vermont cheddar mac and cheese, soups and sandwiches. I had a tuna salad on a homemade johnnycake. I have never tasted anything like that johnnycake . It was slightly sweet but beautifully textured and buttered . It was the... More

We went there for dinner, prior to seeing a show at the theater. This is a cute restaurant with good meals. We had plenty of time so we lingered just a bit. The menu has a nice selection with a couple of specials. The maple plank salmon and the Yankee pot roast were the best choices, along with the fish... More

We had stopped at the Vermont country store and found this spot for lunch right next door. It was a nice wAy to have a relaxing lunch in the middle of a pretty hectic day. Food was very good and service was friendly and quick. We had the hamburger and open faced turkey sandwich (it was like Thanksgiving) and both... More

We were a party of six, and all enjoyed their meals. The food was presented beautifully and came quickly. We had planets of time to make our show and not feel rushed We were seated in our own room and that was nice The prices may be a bit high (die to this being a tourist town), but the food... More

We took a chance of dining here, and were pleasantly surprised. Location: The location is wonderful being right next to a small cafe that serves icecream, and right next to The Vermont Country Store. Atmosphere: I really enjoyed the interior of the building because it retains many historical features and is from the 19'th century. There is an original fountain... More

Went for dinner before we went to the Weston Playhouse. We have been here a long time ago so decided to try it again. The AC wasn't working well and the place was extremely hot. Portions were very small and expensive for what you got although the food itself was good. I actually went across the street to the general... More

It's a nice place with tablecloth and Vermont Country Store tableware. Leaving a copy of the catalog on the table to peruse while waiting for your meal is also a nice touch. The fish and chips looked very traditional. My sister ordered it and I had a bite. When you order potatoes, regular fries or sweet potato, remember this: they... More

We arrived right at their closing time, and they were happy to serve us. In fact, they did not let on that they were supposed to be closed until we were getting ready to leave. Our server, Tami, was delightful and allowed us a leisurely dining experience.
