Online easy ordering, ready when we arrived as promised, delicious! We tried the ribs, chicken wings & the combo plate of brisket, pulled pork & sausage. With several sides it was enough to have dinner & 2 lunches. We’ve supported several area restaurants for takeout...during covid & Dover Forge just moved way up near the top of the list for ordering again!More

We stopped by for dinner and had the burnt ends and pulled pork sandwiches. Just delicious and a nice surprise were the fresh cut French fries. Excellent. The service was great and nice outdoor seating. Great selection of local beers.

We have been here once before and remembered the food being very good. The food that we received on this trip was equally delicious. The service was good and the food was unique. My only complaint would be that my vegetarian dish was very small...in comparison to the meat eater’s dish who sat across from me. His dinner was three times the size. Just because I’m vegetarian doesn’t mean I’m not hungry. I ordered the spaghetti squash with the vegetarian Bolognese, $24 I think. If its vegetarian, add more food not less, it’s cheaper to serve. It was delicious, but I literally ate every single bite and was still somewhat hungry and I’m not a big girl. That being said, we would still go back because the food is quite good.More

Went out to dinner the other night, at the Dover Forge restaurant in West Dover, Vermont. My wife and I started our dinner with a cocktail and a very delicious appetizer of a chickpeas fritz with beets and greens. Since we are both gluten free...it was great to see the restaurant had a lot of different options for dinner. For our main course I went with a steak fritz, while my wife had a vegetarian dish which she asked to put grilled chicken in. Both dinners were excellent and the service was very good. The manager stopped by periodically to see how we were doing, which we both appreciated. The last time he stopped by, I asked him my usual question, is the restaurant haunted? He told me he never had any otherworldly experience, but other people had. He mentioned about three stories about strange things that had happened in the place, so you be the judge.More

I real good all around casual restaurant. Reasonably priced, good food, good drinks and very pleasant staff. Enjoy the French onion soup as well as their Brick Chicken. Specials are always fresh and very good. They do their own smoking of meats too. Eat there at...least three times a month in ski season and always consistently very good.More

Went at 9:30pm so was able to order Dover Forge food at the One More Time bar and pool hall. Chill atmosphere, local music on Friday and Saturday nights. Four pool tables in very used condition for $10/hour, darts, and ping pong. Food was good...and served quickly. Good local beer selection. Open until midnight but food only until 10.More

We were lucky there was a cancelation which allowed us to done here after a day of skiing. A bit pricey but the quality of food was great. I had the Osso Bucco, others had ribs, both were fall-off--bone delicious. The menu has something for...everyone. My dinner came late and the manager gave me a glass of wine to compensate. Mistakes happen and the portions were big so my family shared while I waited! I would recommend this place.More

We had a group of seven. The service was outstanding, with both the manager and our server very engaged to insure we had an outstanding dining experience. The wine selection was great. I had the salmon and it was fantastic. My husband had the Ahi...Tuna and was also very enthusiastic about the meal. This was the best meal we had while we were at Mount Snow.More

We waited for over an hour and a half for 3 entrees and 2 appetizers. When the food came out the servings were incredibly small. The restaurant was almost empty. Not going to be coming back here especially when hungry after a full day of...skiing. Incredibly overpriced. When there’s nothing else around I guess this is what happens.More
