Although small, Maxi's serves up big flavor. We stopped for breakfast and both had our meal perfectly cooked. Our waiter, Shawn was very efficient and friendly. This was a good stop.

This a no frills, local joint. If you come here for breakfast, order anything with their home fries. They are crispy and delicious. Even better smothered with cheese.

We love Maxis and always have a great breakfast there. The wait (for 2) is never too long but we do try to avoid going at peak times because it can get a little crazy. Food is consistently good and the service is always friendly. When it's busy it can feel a little loud and frenzied but it's a fun... More

This place is usually quite busy and sometimes has a wait. However the food is good. I had Chloe's pancakes last time. It's a pancake with egg, cheese, and bacon in the middle. It was great but super filling. Only needed one. My sister is vegan and she was able to find something here. Cute atmosphere. Full bar.

My best friend and I found it by accident driving from Burlington back to Boston. The young man who waited on us was awesome. He had lite brown hair with a matching beard. For a young man, he knew exactly what he was doing. I highly recommend this place....Joey

Maxi's is part of what Waterbury needs (and provides, surprisingly well) to service people going between Sugarbush/Mad River Glen and Stowe (or heading to nearby Ben & Jerry's). It's a relatively simple restaurant (I only know it for breakfast and lunch) that does what it does very well. Both breakfast and luncheon menus are very extensive and, from my three... More

No idea where to eat we had tried to eat at smokehouse BBQ in Stowe but after 15 minutes and no acknowledgement of our presence we left and found Maxi's! So glad we weren't served at the BBQ place as Maxi's was all you could ask for in a restaurant. We were greeted immediately and welcomed even though 10 minutes... More

From the outside, this place looks like nothing exciting. But the food is excellent. I had a terrific beet salad with chicken, field greens and a deliciously locally produced goat cheese. My wife had the Cobb salad, which thought was excellent. They have Heady Topper for fans of that IPA. We were really happy with our lunch.

I've been coming to this place since 1988 when old man Maxi was behind the butcher cooler handing out cold hot dogs on a lollipop. It was our go to place for candy and drinks during a hot day at the pool. Now, as a restaurant it has surpassed all my expectations. I've only been for breakfast but every time... More

If I'm headed out to eat anywhere in the general Waterbury area, Maxi's is my first choice. Great, consistent food at fair prices makes for a great combination.
