This husband and wife team really know how to make food and create an inviting atmosphere. Had fried chicken and bbq pork. Even the rolls are incredible.

What a gem this place is! When you walk in, you see a beautiful post-and-beam barn, with dark wood and a fireplace. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, encouraging me to order items that I ordinarily wouldn't order. I ordered a pasta with a lobster sauce, which wasn't too heavy and was finished perfectly. I also ordered rolls served... More

My favorite was the carrot soup. My husband’s favorite was the homemade pasta, with... More
Dinner at the Common Man two weeks ago with my son was nothing less than spectacular. Fried oysters to start with a lemon vinaigrette were the lightest most refreshing fried oyster ever. Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our landlord at the Wilder Farm Inn in Waitsfield, Vermont. The food was the best we had..
It was burgers and Bordeaux at the Common Man last night. The beef burgers and the lobster burgers were servered with fries and a great salad. Wine pairings were offered, along with glasses of good Bordeaux. Another great dinner by Chief Adam
