Did not have plans to eat here two nights in a row, but after the first experience, we could not pass it up the following night. Best shrimp scampi, ever. Not the most imaginative of dishes on the planet no matter where you have it,...More

We greatly enjoyed our dinner at the Peasant restaurant. The food and service were excellent. I appreciated the fact that they had some half plates on some dishes as I am not a big eater.

My husband and I dined in the Peasant restaurant during the holidays. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff and excellent food. We appreciated that the owner stopped by for a quick chat.

This is a cozy and comfortable restaurant located in the historical Bridge Street district of Waitsfield along the Mad River. My maple glazed salmon was outstanding and will bring me back.

You will not leave this restaurant hungry or unsatisfied. The pork bolognese is the best ever. The restaurant has a full-service bar, a menu full of great choices, and, the night we were there, tempting specials.
