Wonderful staff! Good food. Nice place as we pass through town. I was pleasantly surprised. They had no trouble allowing us to modify the food we ordered. For example, Gluten free, no onions.

Went here because of the positive reviews. We completely disappointed.
Walked in with our masks on (we were the only patrons with masks, staff unmasked as well) because one of us is a cancer patient. Were ignored by the two female staff. We waited at the bar and they continued to ignore us. A couple came in after us, was seated, had a waitress at their table so the only conclusion we can come to is that as a masked patron, you're not going to be served.
We voted with our wallet and took our money elsewhere. Which is a shame b/c we had high hopes since we live nearby and are still looking for a cool brunch/breakfast spot. Guess it's not going to be this one.
Not that it matters but carpet looked yuck. Not sure why you'd carpet a restaurant dining floor.

Super friendly staff and delicious food!! We quickly became regulars after relocating from another state to a nearby town. The portions are generous and everything we've ordered has been excellent.
Don't forget to get a dessert even if you have to get it to go!!! You won't be disappointed if you find yourself traveling through this beautiful town and stop in for a meal.

We ate at three places in the area. This was the best. The server was friendly and the food was great. The price was more than I usually pay, but right in line with other restaurants in the area. I had the homemade meatloaf. Loved it!

This is a typical family restaurant from the outside. I’m seriously allergic to gluten (celiac) so this kind of place on a Sunday evening is scary - relaxed kitchen, junior cook, near closing.
The moment we walked in we were greeted pleasantly and seated. Service was snappy, and the waitress knew her menu cold. She made sure she understood my allergy and checked everything. I ordered a patty melt and my wife had a burger.
The chef cooked my food in its own skillet. Patty perfect with onions and mushrooms and melted cheese, no gluten issues. My wife’s burger was better than good and she would happily order it again.

The Junction Restaurant is a gem in the rough. We were out for a Sunday ride in the mountains of Vermont. When we saw all the cars at this restaurant we knew we had to stop. Wish it was closer to us in Chazy, New York. The food was delicious and so bountiful. Prices were more than reasonable. Our waitress was very personable and answered all our questions. Couldn’t ask for a better place to have a home cooked meal on the road.

We live locally and are lucky to have this restaurant to enjoy a great home cooked meal out of the house from time to time. The turkey club is what I had on my last visit and it was the best I've ever had.....the turkey was like a fresh turkey dinner, so yummy! Wait staff very friendly and prompt. Very reasonably priced also. Little gem here in Troy!

15 years ago my wife and I took a trip to Vermont and Canada to see the fall foliage. While driving around in Northern Vermont. We came upon a cafe at a small highway junction, and decided to have lunch. I had the special that day. Roast turkey with stuffing. I then reluctantly told my wife, that "this is the best turkey dinner I have ever eaten" but it was and still is. I have for 15 years told people about that dinner but we never really knew where we were, when I ate it.
Now in October 2018 after retiring we took another leaf peeping trip to New England.
While driving around Northern Vermont on local 2 lane highways and just sight seeing.
I came to a junction of 2 highways and looked across the intersection and couldn't
believe what I was seeing. It was that cafe where I had the great turkey dinner.
We went inside and told the waitress our story. Having just eaten up the road. We did have pie and coffee, which was excellent. But I had to get a turkey dinner to go, to eat
later for supper, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. It was as Yogi Berra said Deja Vu all over again

Simple, hearty and tasty fare. My wife recommends the bread pudding, “like french toast with warm maple syrup!”
