We were staying in the Inn and decided to have breakfast at the Whip on Sunday. They had a brunch menu but we went with the old standby omelette which was so fluffy and delicious. Service was good and a good start to our day.

Yes totally acceptable. There are very few places in Stowe you need to dress up.

I'm here at The Whip, now, enjoying another outstanding dinner. The bar tender says -- "yes" -- they're open all through Christmas every year.
