My wife and I dined here with 2 other couples. I enjoyed the chicken parmigiana. The wine I wanted wasn't available as I recall, so the waiter brought a Pecorino, which was a delightful white wine to savor with the meal. Service was excellent.
We were looking for some place a bit different than the Stowe restaurants, that we had been to before and came across the reviews for this restaurant on trip Advisor.
I made a reservation for the porch and the owner is a charming fellow, the...food is excellent and out waiter most helpful in assisting us with our food and wine selections. This would be at the top of my list, next time we go back to Stowe.More
We have passed by this wonderful restaurant many times on our visits to Stowe, but stopped in tonight. The food was really good, matched only by the ambiance which added to a delightful evening. The staff was friendly and service efficient. Couldn't have been happier...to find out how nice Trattoria Le Fest was. Will return again.More
This was my family’s first time coming and we definitely will be returning. We ordered the burrata, bruschetta, scampi, pescatore, and salmon. The food was delicious!!! You can tell everything was fresh and well cooked. We were all silent and devoured everything. The dessert was...fantastic as well. I usually never write reviews of restaurants but i highly encourage anyone visiting Stowe to come and eat here!!!More
We were greeted on the porch by Tony( owner) who led us to a lovely table with paintings displayed by local artists along the walls. Wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The Caesar salad was fabulous! ( my son said he should...have ordered seconds). The waitperson made helpful suggestions for pasta types for each dish. They were absolutely delicious!!
We ARE coming back !!More
We had a wonderful meal at Trattoria La Festa. I called Tuesday to try to get reservations on Wednesday and was thrilled to get a table. We had the bread which was fresh out of the oven with delicious herbed butter. I couldn’t resist. I...had the shrimp scampi and the sauce was just right and quite tasty. Husband had Veal Marsala and veal was very tender and sauce was delicious. Overall had a great meal. We sat inside. I would definitely eat here again.More
We have eaten here since they opened in the '80s on our visits to Stowe. Talk to one of the owners, Tony. He will fill any request. Be prepared to enjoy some of the most flavorful Italian food, just like Nana made!

Look, here's the thing - yes, you cannot do better than Trattoria La Festa for dinner in the Stowe area. But here's the pitfall - let's say you order the Pescatore (they recommend it with ziti, although you can get it with any of their...amazing pastas). So, they bring you this delicious dish and you start eating and you keep eating because it is so delicious. The portion is huge, so if you keep going, you're not going to have room for dessert. Big mistake. The Tartuffo is the best dessert in Stowe, possibly the best in New England (I haven't had every dessert in New England, but nobody's topped it yet). It is worth the trip to Trattoria all by itself. My advice: when the Pescatore comes to your table, ask for a box immediately. Put 3/4 of the dish into the box and take it home. Eat the other 1/4 or so, leaving plenty of room for the Tartuffo. If you're still hungry afterwards, break out the leftovers when you get home. It's a win/win/win-later situation. I haven't even gotten to the ambiance and personal attention we always get at Trattoria - Tony is so welcoming and friendly, and Brian and Andy are nonpareil when it comes to service, and they've been working there for a long time, so you can rely fully on their recommendations. All around, a great experience every time.More

Thank you for the wonderful review. Yes it is true not only the food is great but the portions are very adequate for voracious appetite. My mother always said"Abbondanza" which means abundance in giving otherwise its a sign of a cheap Heart. We...More
