Everyone was very friendly. The server was attentive. The entree list includes a lot of pasta dishes, but the pasta is not homemade. The food was fine but overpriced (even for Stowe). The wine list was good.

I came across Trattoria La Festa when booking a restaurant for my family during my first trip to Stowe. Let me tell you this is some of the best Italian food I’ve had!! Both the service and the food was great. Oh and I can’t...forget, the wines were on point as well. My dad and I both ordered the duck manicotti. The waiter said there are usually three words people use to describe how great this dish is which I can’t say. Meanwhile, I can’t even put into words how delicious it was! I will definitely be coming back next time I’m at Stowe. Give Trattoria La Festa a try, you won’t be disappointed!More
We had a hard time getting a reservation for dinner during vacation week and ended up getting a reservation at Trattoria La Festa. This turned out to have been a great thing. The food was amazing, we were there with 2 adults and 2 teenagers...and everyone loved their food. Even though we were already full from the huge portions, we ended up getting desert, which was equally great. Definitely expensive, but well worth it.More
My husband and I have eaten at many restaurants in the Waterbury - Stowe area. We finally tried Trattoria la Festa and wish we had gotten there sooner. Our meal was outstanding. The bread was fresh baked and wonderful. The house salad was an excellent...Caesar that was light and not drenched in dressing. The burrata was amazing. Our entrees were also excellent. The veal was tender and the sauce was light, not heavy. The choices of wines by the glass was better than just about anywhere. Service was excellent. We enjoyed our dinner experience so much. We absolutely love this restaurant and can't wait to go back!!!!More
Quite possibly the best italian food we've ever had. I booked our reservations for 10/14 a full month in advance and they were already limited in availability (book early!). That morning the chef sent me a text saying there was a 16 person waitlist and...to confirm my reservation. You can see how popular it is just from that! The ambiance inside was charming. We were greeted immediately upon entering and brought to our table. The decor was so homey and warm. We got the mussels & blue cheese as an appetizer, and for entrees carbonara & chicken parm. My chicken was so tender I could cut into it with my fork. The portions were MASSIVE and we would have had plenty to bring home if we weren't traveling. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert after how large our dinner was. 10/10 recommend. Its been 3 weeks since we were there and still talk about how good it was.More
Very good food with good portions. I had eggplant Parmesan and husband had manicotti special with cheese, duck and chorizo filling. Both entrees came with good Ceasar salad and yummy green beans. Hubby had beer and I had a $15 glass of Chianti Classico reserva...which was not good. I was surprised since they have big wine list and very pricey for a glass.More
We have been coming to Trattoria La Festa for many, many years, and our visit this time did not disappoint. From bread to salads, main meals to deserts, everything was excellent! And the service was outstanding! Owners Tony and Patty made us feel like we...were having dinner in their home, along with our server we were basked with attention. We most certainly will be back!More
We had a great meal of items with a slight twist from traditional Italian food. From getting us seated to paying the bill the staff checked to make sure we had everything we wanted. Plenty of food as we took some home.
This is a classic family owned Italian restaurant. The owner and service staff were friendly and attentive. The cocktails were generous. Ample serving sizes and quality presentation. The food is delicious.
This was our first visit to Trattoria La Festa, but won't be our last! The staff was attentive & the meals were wonderful! My husband ordered the veal chop & I had the veal marsala. Both were outstanding! The servings were generous & we left...with a shopping bag of leftovers. The tables were well-spaced apart & we felt very comfortable eating there.More
Matthew and Trattoria were excellent. Delicious food and wine! If you’re in Stowe, my wife and I highly recommend! Buona!
The staff really seemed to care about the challenges of making reservations on our first night and found us a spot on the porch. We were so impressed we returned days later with our larger group. The food is exceptionally fresh and the portions just...right. This was not a cheap meal, but we all thought the food and staff experience made it well worth it- A good value.More
My wife and I dined here with 2 other couples. I enjoyed the chicken parmigiana. The wine I wanted wasn't available as I recall, so the waiter brought a Pecorino, which was a delightful white wine to savor with the meal. Service was excellent.
ALWAYS come here when we stop in Stowe. Food is extraordinary, super cozy atmosphere, and the staff treat you like family. If you’re looking for great Italian food, this is the place to go!
We were looking for some place a bit different than the Stowe restaurants, that we had been to before and came across the reviews for this restaurant on trip Advisor. I made a reservation for the porch and the owner is a charming fellow, the...food is excellent and out waiter most helpful in assisting us with our food and wine selections. This would be at the top of my list, next time we go back to Stowe.More
