We stopped in this cafe while waiting on a table reservation nearby. This cafe was busy and people were milling about. While we encountered a line, it moved quickly and we all had coffee and lattes in less than 10 minutes. The ambiance is quaint with a few comfy chairs and loungers in a restored colonial building on Main Street in Stowe. There is also a selection of fresh pastries as well as cute local artisan items for sale. I think that this popular cafe would do well to convert the 'retail' space to more seating for customers to sit and enjoy. Take your coffee and stroll down Stowe's historic Main Street.

We frequented this coffee shop several times during our visit to Stowe. It was conveniently located on the main strip. The baristas were efficient and the coffee and teas were really good. There was seating both inside and out. They have some breakfast sandwiches for a quick breakfast and they have a cooler on the side wall that has take away drinks.

The medium roast coffee was pretty good, obviously fresh. The barista was all business, focused on his creations. The young woman at the counter was very friendly and personable. The baked goods, however, were surprisingly bland. The cinnamon roll in particular was tasteless with an overly generous slathering of super sugary icing that stuck to everything and was difficult to clean up

When my family and I arrived to it was pretty packed. We understood this may have an effect on how long our food was going to take. We ended up ordering like 3 sandwiches and a few coffees things and spent almost $100 . When my father asked how fresh the coffee was the girl at the cash register with the gap in her teeth told him she’s not moving. She didn’t get a tip and got mad and made us wait 45 minutes for some bland cold cuts on toast. We waited longer than anyone there . Everyone that ordered after us even got their orders. My mother waited 35 minutes before complaining. She told us it’ll only take 7 more minutes, we waited for 15. We then asked the lady with the lipstick and she told us it’ll be right out but came out laughing. The same girl we ordered from came out with the sandwiches and death stared my mom and waited a few seconds before saying rose. It was very clear what she was doing. So incredibly rude. 0/10 experience.

I ordered 2 Smoke House panini's to go and the sandwiches were not wrapped properly and fell apart in the paper bag while I was trying to distribute them. I only ate 1/2 a sandwich because it was dripping wet from the tomato and not appealing to eat. The bag of chips that came with the meal was a no brand and flavorless, not like the chips they sell in their store for $2.99/bag. Stick with breakfast. The grilled lunch specials are not worth the money.

Very disappointed in our visit today. This is the second visit we have made here, food was decent however when we got a copy of our receipt, I noticed a section that said 10% service fee. When I asked the girl behind the counter what this was for I was informed it was an automatic gratuity added to the bill for the "bakers and back house staff" that don't receive tips as well. I said what? The girl then dug out from behind the counter, a printed notice to all customers. This was not in plain view or posted anywhere to see. This was hidden from view. It reads as this: 10% Minimum Service Fee will be applied to all checks automatically. This fee reflects our commitment to compensating our employees fairly. Customers who wish to add additional gratuity may do so at the end of their transaction. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. What in the world is going on here? I feel as though this is a cheap attempt to offset the cost of actually PAYING their employees a fair working wage, by passing it off onto the customer, and making it our responsibility to do it for them. We will not be back. As a company who "values" their employees and customers, you should do better. It is not the consumers responsibility to pick up your slack in paying your staff! Disgusted for sure. If this is a company policy you hold strong to, this notice should be CLEARLY POSTED in direct view of the customer, that can actually be seen, not hiding behind the counter covered by stuff. Most places post a notice like this right on their menu!

Offered to steam the almond milk added to tea, nice touch. Bakery items were fresh and delicious. Chocolate cannoli was yummy, almond croissant very flaky. I’d go back to try more item.

We were bordering on being in off season so some of the restaurants had already closed. There was a long wait for all things we ordered, and it was mediocre at best. No flavor in our Maple Latte and the egg sandwich was very crispy. It filled the empty spot but wouldn’t be my first choice to return to.

We were staying next door and needed some quick beverages to ease the pain from traveling. Nice selection of chilled, alcoholic drinks. Adorable shop with a friendly staff. Stopped in the next morning to grab breakfast on the go. Our egg, cheese and sausage sandwiches were piping hot and delicious! Reasonably priced. Comfy seating while you are waiting. All kind of coffee drinks as well.

Great local coffee shop... We are never disappointed when we come in here (assuming we can find a seat)! Staff is always so friendly and helpful, with a nice selection of specialty lattes and local pastries. I always look forward to their new seasonal beverages. Decent sandwiches and breakfast burritos as well if you are looking for something more substantial. Only downside is the 10 percent automatic service charge (mainly because I can't figure out what it is for). Remember to tip your baristas!

We stayed in downtown Stowe and as this was within walking distance went there 4 mornings in a row. Wonderful selection of pasties, muffins, etc. as well as specialty coffees, lattes, expressos, again etc. I know they also serve lunches, which I imagine would be wonderful, but we were the daily 7am stoppers. My wife especially loved the Maple Lattes

Bustling cafe on a busy road in the center of Stowe with an outside patio, which is nice if you don’t mind the noise but of traffic. Expensive (to be expected in Stowe), but high quality food, tasty and fresh. Good service. We’d visit again

My wife and I had breakfast three times at this excellent restaurant. They offer several breakfast sandwich options, and many incredible pastry's to offer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Seating is a little limited so be patient it's well worth wait. We will come back again when we visit Stowe, VT again.

My husband and I came here twice for coffee and pastries during our ski trip to Stowe. It's right in downtown area. I liked it because they had vegan options. It's very cozy and the pastries were great and friendly staff. It did seem a bit expensive but Im guessing it was in line with everything else in the area since it is a tourist area. We enjoyed it and would definitely stop by again if we were back in Stowe.

We went here every day when we were in Stowe. Such nice folks, fast service, and wonderful breakfast pastries and sandwiches. Above all, the coffee was amazing! I highly recommend. Heck, I drank so much of their coffee, I need to scale back now that I'm home.
