We visited last weekend and stayed for three days, overall all the experiences were great. Friendly efficient service, great food and drinks. Salmon dish at dinner was great, as was the breakfast buffet. Thanks to all involved.

The Breakfast buffet is pretty standard but expresso was really bad. Service in the morning is spotty. Dinner service is much better. The duck breast was really good. The kale Salad was excellent and tasty. However, the butternut squash puree had very little flavor. The veal served with pappedelli pasta could have more flavor. The veal shank in it was... More

We had dinner for 3 and 2 of us had two drunks each and the bill was $160 with tip. Service was great as our server, Samantha, was attentive and engaging. The food was quite tasty as we had a burger, wings and the shrimp tacos. Portions were good and the Switchback draft beer was awesome as usual. My only... More

The food and service were good enough. But the room and its location in a such a great hotel led me to believe the restaurant would be a little more high end. The take away I want you to have is you will find something decent to eat on the limited menu, the servers are friendly and work hard, but... More

My wife and I took a client couple to an appreciation dinner prior to their permanent move south. It was all perfect. Reception, setting, pace, service, selection, quality, and quantities all contributed to a wonderful evening for our guests. The level of service was 1st class from the parking valet (Pete) to our server (Shaun), who recognized our guests by... More

We were very impressed with all the amenities on our one night stop over, so we decided to stay at the lodge for dinner and not venture out. As we did not have a reservation we had to wait a bit which was fine. The menu looked great and was more on the fine dining side, but the food did... More

Solstice has, within a few years, converted from a nice, classy, high-end restaurant to a bar-food serving establishment. And bad bar food. The dinner menu is ridiculously limited. The two items we ordered were both sub-par. The mushroom and asparagus risotto was bland and contained none of the promised Parmesan broth. The skirt steak was cold, fatty and overall gross.... Solstice offers up great breakfasts, lunch and dinners. This restaurant is located right inside of the Hotel at the Mountain. Very classy....awesome freshly squeezed juices and hot tasty consistent coffee. I had the Benedict and I was very pleased. I would come here again and it has a great patio facing the village for your outside cocktails of dining. Take... More

extremely expensive. It was basic, the menu was quite limited. I had the salmon, which was not high quality fish and was overcooked. The appetizer, the hummus taziki guacamole was bizarre. It came with a plate of uncut veggies which was fine, except the bell pepper. I didn't really want to spend the dinner chopping the veggies and seeding them.... More

Breakfast buffet was ok but not worth the price. Staff was friendly. Food was average. Go into Stowe for breakfast!
