Quick Bit to eat

You can always count on Al's! Quick meal! Fries are always hot and the best vanilla shake around! Staff is friendly and the place is clean!

Generations have been enjoying Al's classic burger-and-fry place. Cheap, clean, good food. Burgers are small but at less than two bucks each get two if you want to. The fries are great, but control yourself! Love the retro look. The place is always packed but turnaround is quick so you can find a seat.

Al's French Frys and I are the same age. In the fifties it was a treat to stop at Al's on the way home from the city. In college it was a treat to stop at Al's on the way back to campus. We recently stopped in to renew an old acquaintance and we were not disappointed! Although the restaurant... More

So this place got us because we where craving French fries and the sign just screams good fries. We pulled in and could instantly smell the fries and burgers. We walked in to a line that was café style. you place your order at the beginning then wait in line to pick up your order. We where shocked how cheap... More

Classic burger joint. How does the McDonalds 200yds away even stay open? I have been visiting since 1987 and it never disappoints

Al's is FAMOUS! Great burgers and fries, and outstanding milk shakes to dip those fries in! Window service for frozen treats. It's busy most of the time, so some times service is a bit slow. Al's is likely where 5 Guys got their inspiration! ;)

I have been going to Al's since it was a drive up in the 50's. Still the best fries around - especially with vinegar. I think they are still using the same oil. It's a great family treat at great prices. My son who lives in NYC does not visit without a trip to Al's

Yes, the best Chili Cheese Dog when you need that fix. Of course the fries are awesome too. and my husband likes the burgers, but you can't talk me out of that dog.

You have to try this place, albeit not if you absolutely want to eat health food. But, for old-fashioned fires & burgers, it is the best place for 25-miles around !!
