A tiny bit off the beaten trail. Nice source of both food and drink. Their pastries are to die for. Even if you go to another establishment to have dinner, you can't go wrong with dessert at Monarch's.

Had brunch on a Saturday. Cozy and a little cramped while waiting but so worth it. Started with a Negroni Popper, served in a tiny bottle to be poured over ice and an orange peel. Husband also thoroughly enjoyed his draft Stout. I ordered the...More

Food was good. Beef Hash and breakfast sandwich were delicious. Hash brown was good. Quirky place but cute and would return with extra quarters in the meter. ( took over 20 minutes to get food)

Just across from the park, a quirky little spot, with a hot chocolate that is like a desert. Waffles that are tiny and precious. Fresh squeezed orange juice and CBD confections for the afternoon. pleasant for lunch and does cocktails in the evening.

We went there for Sunday brunch. I started off with the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. Then a long but well worth it wait for the superb chicken and waffles. My group also had the biscuits and gravy which were delicious as well. Very...More

I was in town late April. It was still chilly enough to grab some hot drinks. My preferred choice is hot chocolate and I was very impressed. It was so thick it had to be eaten with a spoon (not a complaint.) It was to...More

Monarch & The Milkweed is a comfortably intimate setting with just a handful of tables and a small bar. Nonetheless, this is a restaurant where each step of dinner is prepared and served with great care and pride. The bartender was skilled and the bar...More

We came in at the end of the evening for dessert and drinks after having flatbreads near by! A lovely array of choices, fresh-baked tarts and ice cream were all on the menu! They also carry some CBD chocolates, which we did not try on...More
