I stumbled on Folino’s because it shares a building with Fiddlehead brewery. The smell was so good while I was getting beer, I had to come back and try it. I both ordered takeout one day and dined in another. I got the same pizza called the Frankenstein and you can request the crust to have that slightly burned crisp. This pizza was phenomenal! The pepperonis put others to shame. Too bad I live in another state cause if I lived in VT, this would be a weekly visited joint!

Not loving the reserve-by-app process that we are all doing today, but I must admit that it went flawlessly. We were actually visiting the Burlington location on 71 S. Union Street. We ordered ahead, parked at spot #3, called in our location and they showed with everything a few minutes later.
We loved the "Fun Guy" pizza with caramelized onions and mushrooms. The single salads were generous and creative. The 12 wings were meaty and very good.
Looking forward to the days of dining on-site, but for now, we were happy with the quality of the food and prompt service.

These were good pizzas. Had a gluten free margherita and a pepperoni. Both pizzas were done right. Tasted both and the gf crust was possibly the best gf crust I’ve ever tasted. Price is standard for the quality and style. Very tasty and quality ingredients. I’d return here.

The not so good: We had called to make reservations but because of the current situation (Covid), we were not able to be accommodated. So we opted to place an order for pick up. We arrived a few minutes before the order was to be ready (5:10). Called in and gave them our name and curbside parking spot. Was told that it was being worked on and it would be out shortly. 15 minutes later, the pizza was still not out. Finally, I did go into the restaurant to see where our order was. Waited about 10 minutes before I was waited on (there was one person in front of me). I gave the young lady working my name and I was told that one of the pizzas was ready and was just waiting for the other. Another 10 minutes went by and no pizza. Finally after some confusion amongst the staff, they realized that our order was not done and had gotten “lost in the shuffle”. They promised to get the pizza right out to us. About 10 minutes later, our pizzas were brought out to us.
The good: despite the above, the staff was very pleasant and apologetic. And they refunded us completely. The pizza itself was really good. Crust could have been a bit crispier but am chalking that up to trying to get it to us as quickly as possible.

For the price of the pizza it is unacceptable that we had to wait over an hour to get served. It is chaos inside and the excuse was that “tickets were lost”. We have had some poor experiences here before, and thought we would give it another chance while we had guests in town. We will never return… and tipping prior to getting our food seems like a poor business model.

This cost too much money and time - the short version is that you tip ahead for the complete lack of service you will get. No silverware, plates, water, etc. are delivered to your table, just the pizza - barely. You have to find and retrieve these things yourself. You then bus your own table, too.
We got our one small pizza in double the time they told us it would take(well over an hour at a non-peak time), cold, and with something on it that was not supposed to be (it's on the receipt, with !!, to put on the side, because I despise it). We also paid $3 extra for a topping that was undetectable. I have been ignored when I emailed and used the "contact us" form on their website. We had to leave by the time the pizza arrived, which is fine because we needed to put it in the oven in order to eat it. No updates, explanation or apology for anything except the bad topping being included, but the only fix offered was to remake the pizza. We did not feel like waiting another HOUR. So, so bad.

I have passed by this place on the way to middlebury and had no idea attached to brew pub is this amazing pizza! You order at the register and find a table. There were no seats in the brew pub side. If you leave that area you are limited to growler or cans. Cans are only ipa. They have a small growler that is about three glasses of beer. On the pizza side they have frosty glasses self serve. Take you growler glasses and your table number to any table open. We sat outside. The pizza is cooked wood burning oven! Frankenstein was delicious! We did not order gluten-free but it is an option. Side salad is sized for one. The family salad is easily for 4. So glad we discovered this place.
Overflow parking is available and stairs down to pub

This is a good pizza place right on the highway. There was outdoor seating when we went which we enjoyed. The big thing to know about this place is that it shares a building with Fiddlehead Brewing so you can get beer from there to enjoy with your pizza.
We got the Truffled Pig pizza which had good flavor. The drawback was, like many of these coal-fired pizza places, the pizza came out too charred for my liking. I would go again but would ask to go easy on the charring. I know it is a recent fashion, but I don’t like burnt crust.

We ordered one large meatza and one gluten free cheese. The gluten free crust is very good; it’s not a cauliflower or frozen processed crust (Schar, Etc); it was crispy and perfect. The large pizza was a little greasy with all the meat so the crust didn’t hold up well. Would recommend but go light on toppings!

We remembered this pizza place when we visited here 5 years ago, so we HAD to have their pizza again. True to form, the pizza is still just as good. It is slowly wood-fired [with skill] and the toppings are fresh and abundant. For us, the crust is just about perfection. Can't beat Folino's.

Delicious inventive pizzas and excellent salad. Appreciate the chilled pint glasses available for the beer from neighboring Fiddlehead Brewery. Friendly informal service and lovely to sit outside with friends on a beautiful Vermont September evening. Highly recommended!

So, we took a ride to Burlington and stopped by Folino's for pizza. . . Also had to grab some awesome Fiddlehead beer next door. Folino's is BYOB, basically, from next door. They were taking online reservations, but walk-in's also. The pizza is always amazing, and there are a number of favorites to choose from.

I took a point off for ambience but the pizza itself was delicious. The real wood-fired experience. Worth a stop, easy access from Route 7. They do have a gluten-free crust option although it wasn’t as good as some I’ve had.

We have tried tris place 2xs. The wait has been terribly long. We waited over an hour the 1st time and 1.5 hours the 2nd time. This was for a pre ordered (over the phone) normal pizza. Will not be returning .

Been going to Folino’s in Shelburne for a couple of years. For us it’s the best pizza in the area! A little pricey and they can get super busy on weekends but the pizza has always been excellent. We love the Frankenstein and the Spicy Shrimp pizzas. It’s BYOB! Definitely recommend
