My friend and I decided to go here together on a whim one night. We were greeted by a staff member and sat at one of the high top tables. The owner came over and introduced himself and made small talk and told us a...little about the place. The wine menu is extensive which was great! We each ordered a glass of riesling to start and it came out promptly. The cheddar cheese plate was delicious-it came with some pita chips and a tasty apple jelly. My friend got the Greek salad which she loved and I got the quesadilla which was actually very good! For something sweet we both got a slice of the homemade Ben and Jerry’s ice cream cake which was incredible. Overall very impressed with the food and the service. Can’t wait to return!More
My boyfriend and I stopped in at Brix sometime last summer, and have been going at least once a week since then! Cozy little place with great wine and creative cocktails, as well as delicious food like prosciutto with cheese and an espresso ice cream...cake! The bartender Adam is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and Brix wouldn’t be the same without him!More
We were attracted by the reviews. We walked into a crowd of folks who were clearly intoxicated and milling about. No one greeted us. There didn't seem to be a staff. It appeared that there was some "private" party going on. And we weren't "in."...On a Saturday night! Could be an aberration; but we won't be back.More
Such a great addition to Rutland's dining scene! Love the atmosphere AND the wine choices AND the food! We stopped in on half price glasses night, so we got to try several light to fuller bodied wines as the food courses arrived. Each one was...a delight, as were especially the prosciutto and the raviolis. We WILL be back!More
I went there for the first time last Friday night around 8pm. There were a few other patrons at the time, so it was cozy. The wine selection is plentiful, along with the presentation. Appetizer selection was good too. I had the pesto flat bread,...and it was pretty good, as far as flat breads go. A little pricey for my taste, but a nice change of place for me.More
