We eat here often. The bar is friendly for couples and the other rooms are very family friendly. The food is true Vermont Italian. Don't expect nouvelle cuisine. Wonderful down home cooking, very pleasant atmosphere and people. Cheryl

This is the place for our favorite pizza and the best antipasto you will ever have. Tuesday night pizza and antipasto special! Feeds 4. Have never had a bad meal here! You won't be disappointed! Great service as well.

The Palms serves very good Italian food at a reasonable price. We took my 87 year-old mother there with her walker and they were extremely accommodating. The lasagna was excellent, as was the garlic bread, and the wine was actually good and authentically Tuscan. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely return. The only criticism I have is that... More

In Rutland for a 3 day trip to Ski Killington. Thought we would give this place a try. Service was pleasant, friendly, and good. Atmosphere is ok. But that's about it. How in the world this place has been around for years is mindboggling. I mean anyone at all who either comes from a family of Italian cooking or frequents... More

We had picked up my college age cousin to take her out to dinner, seeing as we were travelling through the area. We had no reservation, and there was an event in town, but they still sat us. The dinner was quickly served, hot and fresh. Between the three of us we had pork, salmon, and seafood diavalo. The pork... More

I ate here on a Thursday. Most of the tables were occupied, a good sign to me. I had chicken Piccata; a good choice. I lunched the next day on the leftovers of the burger my wife had; also good. Service was friendly.

I have been here several times and it never disappoints. I had the skirt steak and it was excellent. The veal parm is a go to meal as well. The 12 oz streak is also excellent.

Selected this restaurant as a recommendation from a local hotel. Called ahead to see if the establishment had gluten free pasta - yes, penne. From the interaction on the phone, to the entering the restaurant and being seated, very friendly and pleasant. Apps were delicious, main course great tasting, waitress friendly and smiling (very authentic), desserts plentiful and tasty. Electric... More

I love Italian food, so when we came upon this restaurant at 6:30 pm on Saturday night after a long day of watching a truck show at the fairgrounds, I was happy. The restaurants on Route 4 were full with folks from the truck show, so we ventured downtown, though we don't know the area. The green awning toting Italian,... More

Generally when I go out to eat, Italian is not an ethic food im particularly fond of. This restaurant changed that.
