Stopped to order a wrap and a BLT to go. Over an hour later still no food. Ridiculous wait time and a wasted afternoon. Won't stop there again.

Came for breakfast. The service was good and the food solid. Very typical breakfast with eggs and homefries. The coffee was good.

We were staying in town overnight and had lunch and breakfast here. It was a group of 5 of us was busy for lunch and a lot of tables already full outside on porch, we chose to eat outside. It took a little bit of...time before we ordered but our food came out soon after and everything was delicious. Very friendly staff and quaint business.More

Stopped for a late lunch at this amazing place in a tiny town surrounded by the Green Mountain National Forest. The menu is a mile long and the atmosphere is like the neat time when we were growing up. The people are nice and the...food is awesome!More

This use to be our favorite place, but it’s not the same, without the previous cook. Food is not as good, not cooked as well, and in general, a disappointment, for breakfast . Sad, but true…

We were traveling from Boston to Middlebury when we came upon the Cafe in Rochester. A well preserved gem. Ice cream counter, rustic interior....a grand ole place. Great menu selection with a great special of the day. Wait staff were super friendly. Meal was great.....I...really enjoyed the Maple cream pie - it to die for! Prices are super good. They have a small shop of goods too. I would highly recommend this place!!!!!!More

We’ve been coming to the Cafe for over 15 years. It’s funny nobody ever seems to recognize us, or at least my husband, who goes in there more than I at times. Anyway, food is always good. Expect to wait a little on weekends, or...a lot, on holiday weekends. The store attached is very nice to occupy you while you’re waiting for a table. You may not escape without picking up a few soaps or a pair of hand-knitted gloves! Breakfast is a bit more scrumptious than lunch, but both meals will at this restaurant will certainly satisfy. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it. The milkshakes are outstanding. The pancakes are incredibly fluffy and the syrup? What do you think...?!More

Had a 5 minute wait for a table, not bad at all. Waitress insisted on putting out 2.5 year old in a high chair, which caused a meltdown and a scene... she didn’t last there and we put her in a regular chair shortly after....Waited 45 minutes for our breakfast to come out. During that time, none of us were offered so much as a cup of coffee. Only thing saving them from a lower rating was the delicious food. Just seems they are understaffed.More

This restaurant is located in a little "downtown" area of Rochester. It has indoor and outdoor seating. I went here for breakfast. They had lots of options including specials. They had muffins, pastries, pancakes, french toast, etc. Pretty much any type of breakfast you could...think of. They also had lots of different coffee options such as cappuccinos and lattes. The servers were very friendly. They also looked like they made their own ice cream too.More

Can’t remember, but one of the 80 fotos has an “Hoveround” parked by the front steps (three small and deep steps up from the street/sidewalk/parking lot. The store side has aisles too narrow and congested, but seems like the... More
