We’ve been coming to the Cafe for over 15 years. It’s funny nobody ever seems to recognize us, or at least my husband, who goes in there more than I at times. Anyway, food is always good. Expect to wait a little on weekends, or...More

Had a 5 minute wait for a table, not bad at all. Waitress insisted on putting out 2.5 year old in a high chair, which caused a meltdown and a scene... she didn’t last there and we put her in a regular chair shortly after....More

Stopped there while on a bike ride for a late lunch. Food was decent but very nice service, nice atmosphere, good location in this small village, prices were reasonable, would definitely stop there again.

We had a nice filling lunch while travelling along VT100. This is your classic small town cafe. If you travel through without stopping in, you must be crazy!

The price of empire, as demonstrated by the Roman Empire and ever since, is inflation, exemplified here by the ever-increasing prices at the Rochester Cafe. I always stop here on my way north to either Montpelier or Burlington to visit my daughters, and this trip...More

We always make a point to visit this charming restaurant yearly when we are returning from our ski trip. Consistently delicious and hearty breakfasts, extensive menu. Quick and friendly service, very reasonable prices.
