This is a great stop on the way to Killington for a quick snack or a stop for lunch. They have a lot of options for vegetarian, paleo, healthy eaters and some amazing sandwiches for those of us that need a refueling. You can also get fresh juices made right there. Make a trip to the basement for some very... More

Beautiful countryside from Rutland to Montpelier but if you don't want to stop in Killington, you need to plan for lunch. This is an excellent stop. Good menu, nice staff, interesting place. Not a lot of inventory but at least not a lot of tourist junk. Good ham sandwich for me.

We just stopped here while on our way to Burlington. It has a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. We purchased a couple of items in the grocery store area and we looked over the menu. It looks very good and we will give it a try next time we are passing this way. You just cannot say anything bad about... More

We go tubing up the road from this general store and never fail to stop here to get ice coffee, sandwiches, ice cream, or some other treat. The sandwiches are very good and definitely a cut above what you might expect. The ice coffee clearly isn't made by a barrista, but hey, that isn't why you're in this part of... More

Solid retail / food destination with full menu and great store. Beautiful decor with wood accents / flooring and an antique cooler full of great beer. Stopped on way from Stone Step hike to White River swimming hole and got lunch and cans for the River.

Not a fast food restaurant, this store has a great wine and beer selection (cellar). They have local vermont gifts and a great menu of breakfast and lunch foods. Really enjoyed the roast beef sandwich with arugula. The original building was built as the general store in 1888. Nice to see a restored building well used.
