Stopped to get a quick bite and found this cafe open on a Sunday afternoon. Had a hot turkey wrap with yummy house sauce. Husband had a Reuben. Organic, vegan, meat, cheese....lots of choices.

This cafe (also known as Montgomery Cafe) is located on the Main Street through Newport. Parking is along the main road. They offer a hot and cold salad bar with homemade soups included. Desserts and pastries are tempting. Make sure to visit the natural food market adjacent to cafe.

Excellent food and a great staff of wait persons and if you have any question, the owner Steve is always there. Next door is the superb food store where you can find anything from Vermont cheeses to fresh vegetables. An absolute must-see place in Newport, Vt. Manfred.

They have a very wide assortment of both breakfast and lunch items.service is prompt. Food was prepared well. Large portions. The market is lovely and is a very nice feature in the NEK. Excellent assortment of bulk food downstairs. Worth the trip from anywhere.

We stopped in on a whim and we're so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food whether you're looking for a hot entree or just a sandwich everything was fresh, and very tasty.

We always stop here to eat if we want a healthy meal with fast service and reasonable prices. The cafe offers sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads, and a hot bar with soups and dishes. Baked goods and plenty of coffee and tea options are also available as well as smoothies. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great! I highly... More

I go here every week or so and look forward to their cooking, so much better than usual restaurant food. Skilled Chef Karin. Also has carrot cake and chocolate cake to die for..after you eat your vegetables and possible meat of course.

We found the Newport Natural; via Trip Advisor on way to Canada to ski. We despise fast food and thought that we would give the Newport Natural a try. It was a big hit with all six of us. We had sandwiches and salads for lunch AND stocked up on great snacks for the balance of our drive. The Newport... More

I am in town on business and have eaten several times trying the hot bar and the sandwiches. The menu is definitely slanted for the health-conscious, but you won't leave hungry. The wraps and paninis are fresh and flavorful, with some eclectic combinations. Lots of vegetarian choices but they also have several carnivorous options. The hot bar is yummy, although... More
