We chose this friendly breakfast spot just down the street from the State House because it looked like a simple and unassuming throwback to the '50's. We weren't disappointed - hearty breakfasts include 3 eggs and almost any combination of steak, cheese, home fries and vegetables - all delicious and all served with fresh homemade toast.

Went here with my family today and the food was good. The place is small but the food makes up for that. The prices seems to be reasonable for other in the area for breakfast. The staff was friendly but had to ask a few times to get maple syrup and more coffee for my parents compared to where I... More

Great food, reasonable prices and takes restaurant.com certificates. Open til 3 pm, breakfasts and lunches are great and offers vegetarian options, including a good veg Reuben sandwich. Good local products on offer such as breads, cheeses, etc in meals. Great waitstaff

Had a very late lunch near closing time. Wait staff and cook were great a preparing the meal. Did not feel like I was intruding on the "closing time". Food was served quickly, was tasty. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

The food is fine, the service is usually okay for a diner but it is way, way overpriced for what it is.

Eat breakfast their twice during my visit. Wait staff was super friendly and enjoyed casual conversations with guests. The food was amazingly good. When I go back, this will be my breakfast spot every morning.

I enjoyed coffee and a bagel two days in a row at the Coffee Corner while staying in Montpelier. The staff were friendly without being overbearing and the service was fast. I was not looking for a large breakfast either day but the menu had plenty of variety.

Lovely little coffee shop on corner of street, very friendly staff who recommended Apple Crumb which was divine. Went back next morning to pick up two more to take on our journey. A little gem.

I search far and wide for old style fresh cooked breakfast joints and nowhere that I know beats the Coffee Corner. Classic feel, warm and friendly staff and wonderful food. Cooked to order eggs were perfect, their local fresh baked breads for toast are worth the trip alone and the home fries hit the spot. Coffee is always spot on,... More
