This is a great spot for pastries, baked goods, coffee, and other drinks. Everything is baked on site and is delicious. Very high quality. A nice spot for a coffee or snack. Charming decor and staff. Well worth the slightly pricey cost of the items.

Coffee and tasty treats, poems in the window and a canoe in the back yard. Stop here for a bite to eat and a moment of sunlit peace.

If you are in Montpelier it is worth going off the main streets to find this bakery. They make excellent espresso drinks and have the finest pastries and sweets in town. Note they close at 3p though!

I went here today to try it out. I picked up a Chocolate Croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. Both was very good. The lady at the counter was very friendly. The prices seem like it should be for a bakery around $6 for both of them. I will go here again. The cookie was a bit hard then the... More

Breakfast treats galore....fantastic croissant as if you were in Paris. Other sweet offering range from cakes to pastries, really amazing palmiers, scones, turnovers and pie! Coffee is excellent. Need something for breakfast treat? Yum. Need more for a party? Birchgrove would be a great source! They also have good teas!

Birchgrove is a great stop of a latte and a treat. Fresh made everyday. Homemade pastries and desserts. The espresso drinks are very good. Baristas are super nice. Worth the extra block to walk.

Not on the main street but sign set there directed me here. Wonderfully rich yet fluffy chocolate cupcake was amazing. White cupcake with silky lemon filling was old fashioned tender.
