Wonderful staff catering for all tastes so many different local beers and ciders on offer, and as we did, meet some great people on the bar.

This place has a great beer selection, really good bar food and a hardworking and very nice waitstaff. We could not have asked for more! The Il Padrino sandwich was great but will light you up. The great beer will cool you down. Fun!

Stopped here for lunch a little after 1:00 on a Friday, no problem. They have a nice craft beer selection with many local brews posted on the board. We tried the Il Padrino, kind of like a Cuban sandwich with chorizo, tasty and spicy. You could also have half fries and half salad for the sides which was nice. Friendly... More

My wife and I ended up in Montpelier after a long drive. We stopped in Three Penny, had some great craft beers and a pretty good burger. After a day of traveling it was nice to relax and enjoy ourselves. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the beers and helped select to our tastes. I would recommend if in town.

Stopped in to sample some wares. Nice selection, courteous and knowledgeable bar tenders. A good happy hour crew livened the bar side up late afternoon. I would definitely go back!

nice upscale pub. had to ask what charcuterie was and was pleasantly surprised. charcuterie is dealing with cured meats - so we ordered the charcuterie plate, which had sausage, salami and cheese in nice arrangement on wooden cutting board. Menu had regional beers (Maine, Vermont, North Carolina). If i remember correctly, there were about 20 craft brew selections on the... More

We were in Montpelier for one day and this restaurant was within walking distance of where we were staying, also it had good reviews on TA. It's a smallish restaurant with the bar on one side and dining room on the other separated by a wall. Decor was simple but quite charming, light colored wood paneling lining the walls forming... This is mostly a place for the 30 somethings. Very casual, wooden tables & benches. Attentive and knowledgeable service about the impressive array of beers & ciders. Food is pub food. Busy social scene.

Lots of beer to chose from. And if you get lost in it, as I did, they are well versed in their selection and can suggest for you a great pint. The food menu was no where near the beer menu, but the fries were great. Kid friendly. I'd go back.

Great place and atmosphere to drink a wide variety of craft beers. Food was just okay (I had the sausage and kraut dish, my wife had the tabouli salad, excellent).
