The beer selection here, may just be the best in all of Vermont. It's unreal. This is where beer tourists should come instead of making trips to all of the breweries. Nice little quaint Vermont craft beer atmosphere too. The food, is pretty much what you'd expect, just an after thought and a way to soak up the alcohol. Taste,... More

I went in a bit afternoon to meet an old boyfriend. I got a window seat and was quickly helped by a waiter. He explained I could get full service in the window dining room area or I could order from the bar. Once my friend/ex showed up we decided on full service. We ordered soup and burger-both delicious. And... More

Three Penny Taproom has lots of beer options for you. You'll be able to find something good to eat off the food menu, too. I enjoy the fish and chips. I have tried the TPT Burger, which is a burger with peanut butter on it. Some people love it. It was fine - and now that I've tried it I... More

Typically I post reviews for very poor or very good experiences. This is neither. But This restaurant has such rave reviews that I feel obligated to post a somewhat impartial review. The good: we were seated immediately prime time on a Friday night. Our server was extremely upbeat, friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. The beer selection is terrific... More

Highly recommended for a good, reasonably priced meal. There were almost (not really!!) too many beer choices. The food was very fresh!

Three Penny had been highly recommended by other travelers so I decided to give it a try this past weekend. Atmosphere was lively and cozy. Beer offerings were impressively local. We noted a sign that said something along the lines of "We proudly do not serve Anheuser Busch products"...they had a couple of our favorites from Hill Farmstead brewery on... More

A recent stop into Three Penny to sample one of maybe 18 good, local drafts. I met friends thee and we sent off into a remarkable conversation, fueled by the wonderful local beer. They do not play any music and so the environment is completely natural and made up of the spirits of the people, no TV, etc. The barman... More

Really a friendly place with an assortment of all kinds of beer on tap. Seemed very busy for a Thursday night.
