Definitely not health food, but this is a warm weather institution in Vermont that everyone seems to love. You order at one window and pick up at another. The line moves fast because the service is quick and efficient. There are a few picnic tables, but most folks just climb in their cars and eat or drive away with a... More

A local favorite to get a Vermont creemee. One of the best ice cream spots in the state. Has a large selection of various ice cream treats and food. Just outside Montpelier

So glad we asked where to find a soft serve ice cream shop. Lots of choices and very flavorful ice cream!

I stopped here last night for a sundae. It was good but I had a hard time to know the menu. The service was good and the homemade ice cream was good. I want to try other items out so I will be back. It costs $4.40 for a large hot fudge sundae with a credit card fee. So bring... More

As a local, visits to Montpelier's Dairy Creme are a definite summer tradition! Always good -- and the variety is wonderful! Today, on a hot and muggy day, the blueberry blizzard (made with real blueberries) with Snickers was just perfect!

Usually I always get a vanilla creemee but since they had a number of flavors (not just vanilla and chocolate) I asked if they could stack 2 flavors on the cone. Since twisting is not available in all flavors! I got a strange look and was told no. New concept I guess! So I opted for the usual which was... More

I reviewed DC two years ago when we were disappointed in the cremee recipe they had started using. Just stopped by today and holeecow....thank you, DC! Cremee was awesome....super rich and delicious. And though I can't say for positive sure, I think this has to be the best, or in the top 99.9% of best value for a cremee in... More

A friend of mine had a bad experience. She has been here numerous times, and loves hot fudge, but never gets enough. This one time she asked for and paid for extra extra extra hot fudge, on receiving her sundae there was very little hot fudge, and nicely asked the gentleman for more as she had paid for it, he... We have been coming here for 9 years. The variety of cremee flavors - 6 per week - including chocolate and vanilla, and usually sugar free vanilla. My fav is the dish of dirt complete with gummy worm. Lots of mixins, toppings, and dips; along with hot food. Grab a bench or table and watch the people and the river... More

If your looking for the best, most unforgettable tasting soft serve in the northern hemisphere, this is the place to get it. There is also a nice view of the Winooski River too. But back to the ice cream, a different kind for everyone but I think the Black Raspberry is the most delicious of all, with chocolate dip of... More
