Sat at the bar and ordered drinks, wings and a burger. Wings were good, bartender was great, burger was overcooked and came with ramekin of ketchup smeared with some kind of white sauce around the outside. Not a horrible experience other than it was about 100 degrees and all the employees were sweating a concerning amount

Crispy crust, authentic red sauce, choice of toppings. Nice draft beer list, too. Big city pizza in our beautiful small town. Slices available as well if you are in a hurry. We're happy regulars here.

Whenever the weather invites, take the State street tables. Service was ok, maybe a bit slow. Calamari was excellent, but ask for extra arrabbiata sauce. Beer was cold and prompt. Salads were a bummer. Both needed extra dressing and the greens were limp and forgettable. In a downtown trendy state capital main thoroughfare a place like this should be much... More

Had a nice meal at Positive Pie. Was able to sit outside on the sidewalk patio and enjoy the lovely weather in early July. Great beer selection and very good pizza. However, the service was incredibly slow which would be okay under some circumstances, but when you have two hungry little children in tow, we would have appreciated a bit... More

We loved the sidewalk seating area to soak up the sun after a long day of travel. The staff is friendly and there is a children's menu. Pizza was light and tasty.

This restaurant was a bit too rustic inside, but the seating on the sidewalk was perfect. I enjoyed a flight of local Vermont beers and a small pizza all to myself. The servers and the hostess were a bit distracted, but everything turned out just fine. I combined this with a stroll through town and bought a book at the... More

Great meal to feed my family on the 3rd of July. Pre ordered a pizza to eat after the parade. The had it ready. Picked it up and ate it on the lawn of the capital building. Great memory of Vermont. Carcass is the way to go.

We were en route to burlington, and wanted to eat in the sleepy but eclectic Montpelier. The pizza place was busy, both with families and non families. For a funky name, it certainly had funky (but scrumptious) flavors. We ordered a family size pizza, 1/2 salciccia (sausage variety) and 1/2 bruschetta (pesto, mozzarella, onions, balsamic reduction)....filling for 3 adults. Thin... More

I have been to this restaurant a few times. Usually solo to have a pint. Each time I go, the bar tender is always preoccupied I never get a hello or how are you. The bar tender will walk by you and I usually end up having to ask for service. Pizza is great, service sucks!

Walking around this quaint downtown area, blocks from the Capitol, I heard all the locals talking about the Positive Pie. Well, it's a good thing we got there early...it fills up fast--outside first, then inside. The garlic knots are the perfect appetizer and the Supreme Family style fed three adults and we left loving every minute of it. When in... More
