We were visiting our son and he suggested this restaurant for dinner. It was a first visit for all of us. I liked all the little nooks and crannies where people were seated and all the old photos and collectibles on the shelves. We didn't have a reservation but were seated in a nook in the back of the restaurant and got attentive service. I had the meatloaf and it was a large serving so I ended up taking half of it home. It was very good. They had two kinds of parfaits for dessert. I enjoyed trying the maple parfait. Food was a bit pricey but my entree will provide two meals so it was worth it. I hope to return when we are visiting town again and try another dish. Servers and staff were all wearing masks and seating was socially distanced. Yoy may want to get a reservation during the Covid virus restrictions.

We ordered the bourbon beef tips and the champagne chicken. Both were spectacular and the salad bar had great selections, although it costs extra. The chocolate milk(all you can drink) is from a local farm and is the best chocolate milk I have ever had,l and fresh baked bread (all you can eat) which both are included at no extra charge. If your in the area it is certainly worth trying

We went for Father's Day and I had the champagne chicken served with rice for $22.95, i will say it was delicious. It is literally the cheapest meal on their menu. If you want a small salad it's $6.95 extra and is nothing special. Large salad will run you $8.95 or a bowl of soup du jour $6.95, a cup $4.95. Bread bucket extra $2.95 I can remember the days when soup or salad was included in the cost of your meal and free bread at each table, but I guess it hasn't been included in a long long time. There's really no reason it's not included except to gain a greater profit. The service was good, I just felt our waitress was fake friendly and it was a little nauseating for my taste.

I quite often dine at Fire & Ice. The food is always excellent, great atmosphere and when you make reservations, they actually take you at the reserved time, regardless of how many customers are waiting. But this visit was the first time the experience was than perfect. We were seated for the first time up on the balcony. The issue was there is a brass railing that is adjacent right next to the tables and it was, well, dirty and grimy. It did not accommodate the awesome meal and took away from the whole experience. We will go back, but we will sure not sit in the balcony area again.

We ate at Fire and Ice a few weeks ago and had an awesome waitress named Lynn. Fathers Day we ate their and the service was terrible. We were seated and sat so long without being acknowledged I was wondering if we even were going to be waited on. That alone was enough to ruin the night but the rest of the evening the waitress took forever. I know it was Fathers Day but the tables were not all filled. Not that happy with the menu. You have to order bread with your meal and they do not offer side salads. We will not return.

The food was extremely slow coming out and the quality was not great. Caesar salad was ok but the pasta dish we ordered was honestly terrible. I couldn’t eat it. My husband’s burger was ok. Definitely not worth the over $200 bill for 7 people.

We have been to Fire & Ice for many of our SPECIAL nights dinners, but for my wife's Birthday and our Anniversary dinner in October, we were so disappointed. We always have Prime Rib and my wifes cut was so small you couldn't even tell how it was cooked, A McDonalds plain burger was thicker! You still get charged for the big menu but no salad bar so now instead of coming with the meal like before, you have to pay for each item, Our $100.00 dinner was a flop! The waiter offered stuff to the table next to us, biut didnt to us when we ordered. There was 4 there and 2 of us, so I guess we didnt qualify for other items...We will be going back to AppleBees in the future for better foods quality and less than half this price!!!!

We had a disappointing meal. First, the good stuff: the decor is amazing. A labrynth of dining rooms with the walls covered with interesting historical artifacts. And the staff was terrific. Everyone was friendly and attentive. But, the kitchen needs to get their act together. My sea scallops were overcooked and rubbery. The baked potato was old and dry. My son ordered a medium burger and it was bright red rare. My daughter said that her salad was "fine." The nachos were good. We were excited when we arrived, but bummed when we left. I hope that they can improve so that the food matches the decor and prices.

We used to love the amazing salad bar that was included with the meal. That went away during covid and has not returned. I had expected dinner to include a salad, but was disappointed that the meals, which are priced the same or even higher, include only a potato. No vegetables. No salad. We had the prime rib, which was good, but disappointed that it didn't even include the seasonal vegetables or a salad. The decor is interesting, as always, and the service was good. Please throw in a dinner salad!

We had takeout from Fire and Ice..prime rib, French onion soup. My first surprise was that all of the menu was available for takeout…prime rib was great..we chose Dale’s way…order ready in expected time frame…beef was juicy, tender and flavorful. I was skeptical that “to-go” French onion soup could measure up to eat-in but I was not disappointed…rich broth with lots of onions complete with crostini and plenty of melted Gruyère. While we did not eat in, staff we chatted with was polite, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Included in our to-go bag was instructions as to how best to reheat. We did not need these suggestions as our dinner was kitchen hot. We’re ready to return!

Excellent variety in menu. The flavorful Morrocan stew was a mildly spiced combination of vegetables over a bed of fresh baby spinach. I topped it with perfectly grilled tuna. The restaurant was full. Despite post-pandemic staff shortage the service was timely, friendly and attentive. Thank you Patricia! The decor is always fun and led to a festive evening with my spouse and a friend.

We came here on a Sunday evening with a reservation and were promptly sat int he lake room which had plenty of lake memorabilia (think fishing rods and boat stuff) on the walls. Each one of their rooms is themed and other rooms we noticed were the Library and the Tea Room. We had some fresh rolls delivered and ordered the chicken wrap with fries as well as the medium sized cut roast beast with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Both were good. The only complaints would be that the tables were fairly close together and a very large boisterous group sat right next to us which felt like they were on top of us and a large portion of the prime rib was center fat which wasn't too appetizing. All that being said we would come back again.

Our waitress could not have been better! The food was good, I was hoping for more options but with additions suggested by our server, my risotto was very good. Husbands prime rib was a bit too fatty. We sat in the pub at the only high top (at or request) next time I would sit in the main area. Felt a bit cut off but totally on us because we requested that specific table. The memorabilia and historical items on display were so interesting! Could’ve done a tour!

Other than the company we went with and the waitress being phenomenal, I wasn't impressed with the food. Not for the prices charged. No salad bar. Fish and chips was good but consisted of two small pieces of fish and a heap of fries. Not worth the price. It's a shame how much this restaurant has changed. It's not worth the visit anymore.

Ordered the Berber Halibut. As a matter of fact it was well cooked and tasty, even though without seasoning. But the jasmine rise had no flavor and the pineapple salsa and cilantro lime aioli arrived when the halibut was almost finished. Last but not least the bill arrived without asking. The hidden message: can you leave the table as soon as possible? And the restauran was rather empty.
