You could make a meal off the salad alone. Food and service was good. I had the fettuccini with chicken and my friend had a burger. Both were outstanding.

This restaurant had a very unique atmosphere. There were a number of different rooms and each one was decorated beautifully and differently. Even the restrooms were decorated. 4 of us went into the ladies room and it took forever for us to come out because everything on the walls was so interesting. The food was very good, although I think... More

This is a very comfy restaurant with lots of history on the walls - we enjoyed the huge salad bar with fresh bread, shrimp cocktail and fresh chocolate milk! My daughter had scallops and they were really good! They were very busy and the wait staff was running all over the place but was very attentive to us! Would definitely... More

we sat next to the salad bar today, around 230pm--granted it's not lunch time but the waitress was cold as ice and not only that she continued to fill the salad bar with ice for the ENTIRE TIME we were there...it was so loud...the whole place was empty pretty much except for us and everytime we tried to talk she... It was a pleasure to be able to go out to a nice restaurant while being a part of the Whole 30 program. The waitress was really helpful and considerate with my requests and substitutions to keep close to on tract. That salad bar is almost worth the trip all on it's own. Thanks, we will be back and still... More

Wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, awesome service, always a real treat. The new owners are really coming into their own. I never go to Vermont with a trip here!

We were so glad we drove a little out of the way to come here. My mother happened to find it on the fly after a not so great day visiting Shelburne with my 7 and 2 year old. We were all hungry! Everyone was so friendly, and we were seated right away (got there right at 5, and I... More

I stopped after work to meet a coworker. Went in and sat on pub side, Moose Pub. It's all one on the inside really. Full of friendly locals. Great service, atmosphere, food and tap. I had the woodchuck cider, ok 2, and the prime rib tips. Fantastic.

The prime rib there is simply the best around! I was lucky enough to visit the kitchen one day in off hours, and it was spotless! Great food, great service, and a very clean kitchen. What more could one ask!

We usually go here a couple of times a year. It has great steaks/etc for the carnivores and a fabulous salad bar for the rest. The salad bar is one of the best. I always do a shrimp/seafood salad course, a regular salad course, eat my main course, then finish with another salad bar course of fruit/cheese/etc for desert. Each... More

Extensive salad bar with 50+ items, including peel & eat shrimp, Cabot cheddar cheese, local breads, homemade carrot cake and free Monument Farms milk (try the chocolate!). We offer 9 different dining areas, each with its own unique theme. Families are always welcome-ask about our children's theater area. The Big Moose Pub opens at 4:30, the dining rooms at 5pm, daily. We do serve lunch, but only on Friday & Saturday (beginning at noon) and Sunday (starting at 1pm). Reservations appreciated.
