Great pot for a small gathering, or a large group. Classic American cuisine with something that everyone will enjoy!

Wonderful atmosphere, tasty food and great staff. If we lived closer, it would be great to hang at the bar on a weekend night.

we stopped here on the Vermont Railway train. It is right across the street from the station. The salad bar is spread out over an entire room. There is a 'Milk Dispenser" that comes with every meal. Both regular and Chocolate are available by the glass. We had the salad bar which included fresh baked bread, hand cut cheddar cheese... More

Place filled with antiques like letters from Hemingway, lots of Middlebury college memorabilia. Life Covers from the 1960's, etc. Not very lively in the dining area but the Moose Bar in the back seems to have a nice atmosphere for getting together with friends for a brew and a bite. Have been many times and find the staff to be... More

Interesting and odd place to eat, hostess seemed snotty (we didn't have reservations but it wasn't busy) but server was prompt and professional. Both of us had the seafood which was prepared well, we did not get the salad bar as it looked ok but not real fresh. overall ok place but not in a hurry to go back-this area... More

The authentic décor is worth the stop with a full size antique speed boat in the middle of the salad bar! Add the huge, fresh and delicious salad bar and this is a first class family restaurant. Our server Bridget, was friendly and accommodating. The menu was varied and the food very good, but not outstanding.

Out to dinner with daughter and son-in-law who we haven't seen for a year. Funky atmosphere with broad range menu. A fun place to dine!

The restaurant is gorgeous and the staff is phonomemal... and the food is superb.. below is a picture of the Wasabi Panko. Tuna which was great. Definitely would recommend to anyone on any budget.. can be a little pricy but price can be kept to a minimum.

We ate hear after a long bike ride and were pretty hungry. We selected the salad bar and an entree. The salad bar is a meal in itself. I ordered the Epic Burger and it was great but so big I barely finished it. Service is good and they have a great bar connected to the restaurant.

I took my sister and my niece here for dinner! I ordered the 1 1/2 pound boiled Maine lobster with double steamed broccoli. The service was excellent, our waitress was stellar, she took care of our every need without hovering!! The lobster was the freshest, most flavorful I have had in a long time! I enjoyed every bite and I... More
