Eric, our waiter was great. I was looking forward to the salad bar, which everyone raves about. I found it just average. Nothing really interesting on it but what there was,was nice and fresh. I had cup of clam chowder with the salad bar but...More

While on a day trip that included the charming town of Middlebury, we happened on Fire and Ice. It is an unusual place with numerous rooms to serve guests and a huge number of artifacts ranging from artful to kitschy everywhere. Even if you aren't...More

The atmosphere is spectacular with antiques everywhere. The salad bar lunch was excellent and a great value. It is a great find and a must visit on any trip to Middlebury.

This place has been around forever with a huge salad bar as one of the attractions The decoration is quite unique, fun and a conversation piece. Service was good. It’s worth going for a meal if you are there for more than one night. You...More

Wonderful food, excellent wait staff. Do bring your wallet, is pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for! The salad boat is a hoot, and lots of different breads to choose from at it. I frequent this spot.

Got into town late. Fire and Ice was open, and it used to be our go-to restaurant for all our holiday gatherings. I was greeted by a friendly waitress. I had a great glass of pinot noir. But the main course was pretty terrible. It...More

This is still my all time favorite restaurant due to the atmosphere, food, and 50's/60's music. Our family has been coming since the 90's. Décor: The amount of decorations in this restaurant will keep your attention the entire time your there. From books that are...More

We only stopped for some drinks and appetizers but it was a really neat place. You get the feeling you're in a ship. The buffet looked really good too. The waitress was friendly and it was just a nice place to hang out for awhile.
