Outstanding from the moment we walked up. The entire staff was warm ans welcoming. Unending coffee, amazing pancakes. Clean, friendly, many stops back to check on us. Worth the 7 hour drive for a great meal.

Delicious! Just what you would expect a Vermont breakfast would be like. Located inside an old, rustic sugar shack. A must stop!

Had to stop here based on reviews and advertising. Breakfast was decent for the prices. The pumpkin pancakes were good. The atmosphere was rustic and cute. The gift store downstairs was just a bunch of junk and not souvenir worthy. The stuffed animals were cute...and adorable. Be sure to call ahead for seating.More

Food is good. One can find various maple syrup products. I bought quite a few of those and looking forward to partake of them. But my visit there became a horror story because of circumstances the restaurant did not control. I visited on a cab,...and around 10 AM started looking for a cab to go to the Amtrak station which was only 15 minutes away and my train leaves around 11:15 AM. For half an hour I called cab companies, one after the other. Either reached their voicemails, or they said they had no one to send. Even Uber had no cars available. For a bit I thought I would miss my Amtrak to New York city. Finally I didnt because I could get a bus which took me to within 10 minutes walk to the station. And I reached the station about 22 minutes before my train leaves. But I was in panic attack mode for about 30 minutes when I was looking for the elusive taxi. Moral of the story, if you are a tourist in Rutland, go to this place only if you have a car. Though the place, its owners and staff are otherwise nice.More

Our B&B wasn't serving breakfast so they gave us a coupon for breakfast here. The food and service were great.

I had waffles. YUM! My husband had pancakes, eggs and sausage and he said it was great. But especially loved the maple syrup. This place has cute local charm, a little gift shop selling all kinds of maple things plus other items too and they...provided great service. Even though this is casual dining, you will want to make a reservation.More

The waitstaff were wicked nice. The pancakes were very good! Their coffee and maple syrup were also 10/10. We will be craving this breakfast for a few more weeks I’m sure :’)

Absolutely a return visit if I am ever back here again. I had the sugar and spice pancakes. Out of this world. My husband had an omlett and it was just as good. Nice portions , very fair prices and the service was excellent. Drive...the 9 miles from Killington to treat yourself!More

Fantastic breakfast. Hot chocolate is served in a teapot and a cup of whipped cream drizzled in chocolate for you to pour to your taste and leisure. I had blueberry strudel pancake special. One of the best dishes I’ve ever had. COVID distancing plan and...sanitation was very safe and practiced. Christie provided excellent service with her “southern charm and demeanor.” Looking forward to visiting again soon.More

We’ve been coming to Killington in the fall for 7 years now and this was our 1st time here. It will not be the last. Even with all the covid restrictions the place is great. It’s super cute inside, great food, and friendly service. They...have a small gift shop downstairs. They also had a large tent set up outside if you prefer to eat outside. We ate inside and glad we did.More
