All the cars out front were a dead give-away that this would be a tasty stop. Even though packed, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the counter while watching all the men cooking -- and there were no breaks to be had. These chefs were...More

You're dining in an actual Vermont maple sugar house with a lot of history, which you can read about on the back of the menu, and also walk around the grounds of the restaurant to view. They produce maple syrup here. The food is simple,...More

What a amazing breakfast. Quite possibly the best pancakes I’ve ever had. I never order them because most places don’t use real syrup. Eggs were cooked perfect and had huge yolks. Tasty coffee too. We would definitely visit again.

What a fun place. The ambiance is pure Vermont. The breakfasts are by far the best around. The wait to get in can be long, make a reservation if you can.

Tasty breakfast in a rustic setting, plus maple syrup products for sale (try the maple cream!) In the spring they make maple syrup in the restaurant.

Based on a strong recommendation from my son I stopped for breakfast at S&S. That was at 8am. After a mound of outstanding pumpkin pancakes and 3 saucer size slabs of Canadian bacon, I couldn’t eat another thing until 7pm that evening. Enough said?
