Knew nothing about this place but saw it along the road and it was lunch time so I stopped. VERY glad I did! Only 6 tables and the owner has a polished patter that adds to the magic. Lunch was excellent and the pastries phenomenal! All lunches served with a fresh Greek salad and the owner explains your choices of... More

Excellent & interesting lunch. Great Greek salad with Spanikopita, Pastille, or a spinach stuffed brioche roll. Incredible desserts. Brought the linzer tart to friends. It was delicious!

What a cozy place, run by a baker with his own comic shtick. We were greeted by Bill, who advised what to select out of the bakery, and encouraged us to consider the beef empanadas and Greek Spanakopita. We took all of the advise and we were not disappointed. If anything we wish we had more room. Having already had... More

Stopped in here while driving the back roads of Vermont (on the way back from the Cabot Creamery actually). Went in for coffee and a pastry, both of which were very good. Lunch is available and looks delicious (international finger foods served with Greek salad). Owner was interesting to talk to and very witty.

Our friends told us a stop here was a must. And it is. The owner greeted us with personal service and described each dish with pride. Our son ordered a cake with whipped cream and Belgium chocolate to die for...I ordered what the owner deemed "Johnny Depp on a Plate" I was secretly wishing someone would order the poppy seed... What a surprising gem in a tiny town! Don't let the limited lunch menu fool you. Whatever you pick will be a treat. I tried the empanada which came with a nice greek side salad. Tea is fresh brewed. You MUST save room for a dessert. Too many locally made coices.. all delicious! The owner is quite the character adding... More

Marshfield is another tiny Vermont town that looks as if you might get a burger and shake if you are lucky-- nope. This charming stop offers custom cooked foods of the day and deserts to die for. The owner/chef/server does have help, but he surely runs the show. He points out what is available on that day and trust me... More

We backtracked a ways to get to Rainbow Sweets, but it was well worth it. In this little Vermont town is a great bakery. Bill Tecosky, his wife, and team turn out delicious savory goods as well as desserts. We had a beef empanada that was delicious, followed by a strawberry tart and a profiterole, both were excellent. Bill is... More

Stopped by pure chance, got lucky! Food is excellent, baking is top notch, service is, shall we say, individual, but suited us just fine, an exellent way to break a journey, get fed and get entertained!

Yes, it's in the middle of nowhere. No, it doesn't look like much. But this place is worth finding and stopping at, and lingering. Great, great, outstanding baked goods. If you love sweets, you'll love everything in the bakery case. If you're hungry for lunch, or dinner on weekend nights, try the empanadas, the savory brioche, or pizza dinners. Amazing... More
