We loved the location and should have sat at a table rather than the bar/lounge area! Food was good, not great. And this has been our experience during the last five or so years. Hopefully, consistency will prevail since this is what’s needed to manage...this soon to be great establishment!More

Wow! Where to start...we hadn't yet eaten at the Silver Fork in it's beautiful new location. As a local wedding coordinator married to an executive chef we don't often get a chance to dine out. Coming to the end of a very long season we...decided to treat ourselves to a night at the Silver Fork. I wouldn't necessarily say we're hard to please, but just are always looking for that "wow" factor we work so hard in our careers to create for our clients; and let me just say the Silver Fork did NOT disappoint! The ambiance of the new building is simply stunning. Elegant but comfortable, the lighting, artwork, everything was just really a treat for the eyes. Our server was lovely, I'm so sorry we didn't catch her name but she was knowledgeable about the menu, made suggestions on the wine list, and might I say knew how to shake a pretty fabulous martini. She also suggested we preorder a dessert (I'll get to that later) that had a 30 minute prep time, but we were so glad she did. The food was incredible! We ordered a variety so we could try a little of everything, and each dish was better than the last. We started with flatbreads with some of the best olive tapenade we've ever tasted, followed by goat cheese soufle with fig jam, and a duck eggroll that was cooked to perfection. I could've eaten a bowl of the seaweed salad that came with it. The lump crabcake entree and veal lasagna were both out of this world. It's so hard to get my husband to enjoy a meal he didn't cook himself, and he honestly wanted to lick his béchamel sauce off his plate. Onto the desserts...both had an amazing presentation. My pecan chocolate brownie was to die for, and the dessert well worth the 30 minute prep time was the Carribean bread pudding with coconut creme en glace...seriously one of the most delicious things we've ever eaten, and truly not to be missed if you're ever lucky enough to dine here. Thank you so so much to Chef John and his culinary team, Melody, Morgan, our wonderful server, and the whole team at the Silver Fork for such a beautiful evening. Hands-down the best meal we've ever gotten in Manchester!More

If you are anywhere near Manchester do yourself a great favor and experience this wonderful restaurant. May be our favorite ever. Flatbreads, onion soup and salmon were perfect. Service was friendly and informative, and the setting was perfect. Highly, highly recommend.

My onion soup, which was scrumptious, came with small scissors to cut those strings of cheese that stretch like rubber bands. That level of attention to detail was carried out in the presentation of our dinners and desserts. The gran Marnier swan is way over...the top and worth its weight in calories. It's sad to lose the library but The Silver Fork is beautifully designed to suit the space; I would call the decor rustic ambiance and recommend the restaurant unreservedly.More

5 pm reservation. Anticipation! Did not disappoint. Drove all the way from Rochester, Minnesota. Mark and Melody are the best. And a shout out to Morgan, the hostess. Food, perfection, wait staff -great. Lovely lovely place ! My eyes and stomach were in heaven!

We made reservations (necessary) for this place before our stay in Manchester. Best choice! The building was superb! We were seated in a nice quiet room, actually up by the bar, that only had two tables. Our waitress, Lu, was great! Food was excellent. Overall,...the best dining experience we had our entire week in Vermont. Can't say enough about the Silver Fork.More

Absolutely outstanding. Love the repurposed library building and the mid century modern decor-so fresh and different. Every morsel of food was outstanding. MD crab cake and frites were delicious as was the mofongo. Do not pass up the Grand Mariner ice cream profiterole that floats...on ganache.More

Casual but not yard clothes. I would say what you would wear to church, but I have seen jogging clothes there. Clean, no holes something that you are not embarrassed to be caught in.
