Casual dining in a rustic setting. Good price point. Nothing spectacular but the portions are good sized and food was flavorful. Many menu options.

We always visit Mulligans when we stay in Manchester as it is located close to our Inn and saves driving. It is very much like an English pub with a good choice of beer and good hearty food like sausage and mash, meat pies. fish and chips etc. It is not the fine dining that you would get at the... More
This is a comfortable old inn-type joint. Wisely, they do not have an overly complicated menu, although it's large enough to meet most wants. Nicely decorated with a cute barroom. Service was cheerful and efficient when we stopped by. Pricing was surprisingly reasonable. We did a lunch, and then dinner the next nite. One of the best clam chowders I've... More
I was staying at a nice hotel in Manchester - but while they claim to have a bar - it's not a bar. I wanted to watch MNF and Mulligan's had tv, free wings and lots of choices to drink. A good mix of locals and visitors. Staff was great - maybe a second bar person would have been better.... More
Walked in around 1 pm on a summer weekday w 5 hungry people. Hostess was mystified that we might want a table. And menus. Really? Asked if there were tables with a view or outside- got a cow stare. She sat us in the front room, back wall, which smelled like a nursing home (stale food, disinfectant) Menu was filled... More
Whether you just want a few cold drinks or a tasty meal, Mulligans is always a good choice. Great staff and tasty dishes. It is conveniently located right across the street from the Inn at Manchester too! They host trivia every Thursday and other specials throughout the week. Very highly recommend!
When you go to Mulligan's, you know you will get a big feed. We started with 6 Applewood wings, and 6 Buffalo wings -- all were delicious and done just right. We moved on to burgers and salads, and grilled sandwiches, and all were perfect with plenty of fries or slaw instead. Get a good feed on at Mulligans!
Our nearby hotel just didn't have enough space in the bar so we bailed and walked across the street and glad we did. Our waiter was great with wine and beer choices (so honest, it was refreshing!) We picked a few nibbles and everything was good. We didn't partake but noticed the "make your own" Bloody Mary area which our... More
I was craving an English style pub garden but with cold beer. I was going to type "beer" into search when Mulligans popped into view. No garden but it looked suitably English - while claiming to be Irish. The beer choices were as far from Irish as I can imagine but I appreciated the attempt to showcase local beers. Unfortunately,... More
