Wife and I have had lunch in the Marsh Tavern dozens of times - and we always find it to be a pleasant experience. The Tavern is a comfortable restaurant year round, but especially so in the Fall or Winter when the fireplaces are on. The staff is efficient and friendly, and the food generally is very good. One of... More

We arrived late to the Equinox hotel and decided to grab dinner at the tavern. You can sit inside or outside overlooking a charming town scene. The service was excellent and our waiter gave us lots of tips of things to do in the area. The housemade breads and tatertots were fantastic (best "tatertot" I've ever eaten) - and I... More

We had lunch here this time around and the prime rib on brioche was a very good choice. The aged VT cheddar on it was so flavorful, and it was served with a horseradish cream and au jus for dipping. The french fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned, so the complimented very well. I will say that I don't like... More

I have always loved this restaurant, but my last meal there was not as good as on previous occasions. It may have been because it was a sweltering hot evening and I was not particularly hungry! Although I ordered just two appetizers, rather than an appetizer and an entree, I could not finish the second one, a scallop dish, I... More

We had not made lunch plans in Manchester as we were passing through but we decided to stop at this historic hotel. We were so glad we did! The Marsh Tavern was cozy and comfortable. The bread tray (complimentary) not only had wonderful breads but carrots, a nectarine and pepper jelly along with the usual butter. Delicious. We both selected... More

We enjoyed our dinner at the Marsh Tavern. Although the service was a little slow, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The meal begins with a bread box offering a selection of bread products and maple butter! We then ordered the tomato sampler - delicious! Save room for the ice cream - it's the creamiest that I've ever had.

Had supper...service was great! The food...well not so great. Compared to other places, the lamb, and the crab cakes were as expected ...not exceptional. For the high price charged, the meal was a disappointment. The bread tray though was truly well presented and very tasty.

We went for Lunch. They have a good atmosphere, you can sit in or outside. It was very quiet at lunch time. Gluten Free options and the wait staff was VERY professional and knowledgeable about the food.

Sat out on the patio and watched the world go by. Great service and food. I had the Kale Salad and a friend had the Charcuterie, both were delicious. I also had the mushroom flatbread, it could have had more mushrooms, but, was still tasty.

The food was great, I had a different type of salad everyday along with wonderful entrees. My favorite was the salmon of which I had several times during my stay.
