My wife and I with another couple stopped in with a reservation and we were stuck in the corner.... When we asked to be moved, we were shot down quickly.... Another issue was the excessive heat and significant attitude Dress for the Sahara .... Also..... If you want a NY .... Boston ..... Chicago restaurant attitude..... You'll feel at home... More

We loved this restaurant! The heirloom tomato salad was sooooo good! I had the catfish and hubby had the pasta with homemade sausage. Service was excellent. The place was hot (not sure if the AC was not working or not on) but the food was so good I didn't care! This is a true farm to table restaurant.

Went there on a Friday night with my gal and I would definitely suggest you call ahead for a reservation. It is a small cozy place and they take reservations for all sizes of parties. We had to wait a little bit to be seated but a waitress got us drinks as we waited and everyone was really pleasant which... More

This place was so good we went back for Brunch on Sunday. We came in on Friday night but make sure you get a reservation. It fills up fast for dinner. We called about an hour prior and they accommodated, but I was pretty happy I did. Another couple was waiting a while to get a seat, but the staff... More

Expect a fabulous meal. Very innovative, and locally grown, and absolutely fresh. Our 4 meals were incredible. Heirloom tomato stack with house made ricotta......exquisite. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. She made excellent wine recommendations. The blackened blue fish was perfect. Everything about our dinner was so excellent. You can't find this excellent cuisine in the city.

We stopped in on a Sunday evening and it was pretty busy. We didn't mind waiting at the bar because they said they had two tables that were just finishing up. Well, those people lingered and it turned out to be much longer than anyone had anticipated. The hostess was very apologetic and thanked us repeatedly for our patience, which... More

We had been waiting for years to get an epic restaurant in Ludlow. Now we have it. The menu is exotic and flavorful, they have a great special wine list, and their cocktail of the day is a creation. My favorite appetizer is the stacked heirloom tomatoes with ricotta and balsamic drizzle. I recently had the soft shell crabs with... More

right in the middle of town, this gem is worth visiting. "Farm to table" for years the blackboard menu changes daily with the chefs choices of the day.

The food was to die for but just as important, the staff was outstanding resulting in a dining experience we won't soon forget. Our waitress Mel was amazing and described the food in such a loving way that we thought she was the chef. She helped us make amazing choices. We had a vegetarian in our party and they went... More

We had a very nice brunch at the Downtown Grocery this morning. We sat on the back enclosed porch - fairly empty on this rainy day. A shared sirloin carpaccio made a great starter. I moved to solid Maine Lonster Eggs Benedict, while she had the thick and meaty Carolina Catfish over Caesar with long lemon zest. Sharing is caring... More
