Very small and full of character. We stopped in for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed everything. From drinks to our meals it did not disappoint. We especially enjoyed their soda bread. Stop in if you get a chance.

We had shepherds pie and reuben, both very good. Very good made in house breads with the pie. Eclectic dining facilities.
We ate here 2 times. Beef stew, corned beef hash and Reuben sandwich. All were excellent! Great home pub feel. Just like family. The staff were kind a d fun to talk too. Stop there if you can!
Our veggies and dip came with cucumber, red pepper, carrots, celery and broccoli with a ranch dip. A good start to go with our cocktails. They loaded the Guinness Stew with potatoes, beef, and the Guinness stout made this the perfect stew. My wife opted...for the shepherd's pie, which included hamburg, corn with a gravy and topped with whipped potatoes. And the cocktail prices are way overpriced, and the service is not the greatest.More
Very accommodating. Terrific ambiance. Nice Guinness to start. Apps included the Irish bangers and potato pancake which was a nice mixture of flavors, and the French onion soup which was tasty. Mains were the chicken pot pie with a super flaky, delicious crust, and corned...beef and cabbage, cooked to perfection on St. Patrick’s day eve. And the chocolate soda bread pudding was special. Great meal in a cool tavern.More
We made reservations months in advance. We were excited to go to the pub and hear live music. The pub is located outside of the Killington resort area and is a bit of a drive. When we arrived it was located inside an Inn, the...decor in the lobby was quaint. We checked in at the pub and were told McGrath's does not accept reservations. What? I guess when I called they reserved us a the restaurant next door called Rosemary's. The restaurant had a totally different vibe and a very pricey menu that wasn't kid friendly. After looking into the pub, I saw how small it was and immediately understood why they didn't take reservations. I was pretty upset that the person who took my call didn't take the time to explain this and duped us into making reservations at the expensive restaurant next door. We didn't stick around, so I can't speak on the food or entertainment. I wouldn't recommend going to the pub to eat.More
We are really sorry about the confusion here. Obviously our mistake as the person who answered the phone should have asked whether you were interested in the Pub (McGrath's) or the Dining room (Rosemary's) again our apologies.
Fire going and Irish music playing. Our waitress was awesome and so was the food. Our group had the shepherds pie and burgers. Would recommend
I would rate the overall feel as very much Irish pub. The owner, music, etc. Nice Guinness- well poured. Smithwicks. My husband got a burger and enjoyed it. I ordered the reuben. It was good. I found the red cabbage a bit odd, but I...ate it separately.More
Great stop after skiing for some delicious pints of Guinness. Food is very good as well and the location is perfect.
They have a fine selection of Irish beverages, the Smithwick's Irish Red was very satisfying. A large Caesar salad and grilled cheese on rye was tasty and filling. The barkeep is most knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. A great time was had!
Only drawback is that we took out. Would have loved to spend the night sampling the taps too. The beef stew was amazing, delicious chunks of beef braised in Guinness...what could be better. And the stuffed spuds were fantastic. The spinach salad was fresh and...delicious. Overall an A+ meal and travelled well.More
Great cozy atmosphere and friendly service from Brogan !! Great selection of beers & such !! Coming back to test the menu….
It was a busy night but definitely worth waiting. This felt like a family run business were everyone cared that you were looked after. Our group of 4 enjoyed one of the best nights of our trip to New England in this pub. Great music,...exceptional service. Nice hearty food and Guiness on tap. Who could ask for more.More
Warm and friendly staff. Very cute and cozy place. Had the turkey melt on Irish soda bread and it was delicious. My husband loved the shepherds pie.
Fine dining is truly in the eye of the beholder (or the diner). If you (like me) love a true Irish pub, then this is the place for you. It has the appearance, the ambiance, and the hospitality of an Old World Irish pub. But...the similarithy does not end there. Their Irish Pub Stew is authentic, and the flavor is superb, as is the bread that is served with it. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich, and that too was outstanding. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, just as one would find in the Old Country. The prices were reasonable, and well worth the experience. This is an experience not to be missed if you are in the area.More
