WOW. We decided to try the Vermont Inn. When we showed up the place looked like an old fashioned place. BUT the food was anything but! We started with the spinach dip (good but regular) and the mushroom caps. The mushroom caps just said stuffed with mushroom/cheese. This does NOT do them justice as they tasted amazing. Then we had... More

This is our second time back at this restaurant. This time I had the Mac and cheese with Vt cheddar The portion was generous and the taste was delicious. You can also have it with lobster meat or mushrooms. I was not the overly hungry but wanted comfort food. I took half back to my time share and finished later.... More

The Inn looks like it is in need of repair and modernization. Room decor is different in each room and they look haphazardly decorated. As for the restaurant, the food was so salty, it was unpalatable. We sent a meal back and it came back to us even more salty. My wife's fish dish looked and smelled off so we... More

We went to this lovely quaint restaurant on a Sunday night. Definitely make reservations. On Sunday we had the 17.95 dinner specials which included soup or salad choice of selected entrees and desert. Don't miss it! I would go again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I decided to eat on the outside patio on a beautiful Sunday evening dinner. On Sundays, a fixe prix dinner three course dinner is offered which we enjoyed. The food was tasty and was only outdone by the views. The wait staff were professional and polite, even as they were challenged by a large party.

I am always looking to find good restaurants in the Killington area and the Vermont Inn fits the bill. It is located on a side road off of Route 4, so be sure to look for the signs or you could miss it. I had made a reservation, but it seemed one was really not needed, as I was the... More

We were staying at a nearby inn and ended up checking in later than we thought. Worried that we wouldn't find anything for dinner in the area at almost 9pm, we picked the first place we found on our phone map and came across this restaurant. They were closing the dining room but offered the same menu at the bar/lounge... More

Had dinner here with family. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Knew menu well. I had lobster stuffed with risotto and it was delicious. I hesitated at first since lobster can be a lot of work but this one wasn't. It was prepared so that it easily came out of shell and was cooked perfectly. We had a chicken appetizer... More

The menu here had lots of variety and all seemed quite tasty. We had the baked cauliflower and a mushroom dish. The food was good, but I will say it was a bit too salty for our taste. i would definitely eat there again, but would ask for a bit less salt on the dish.

We've eaten here several times now and are really pleased with the new chef. The food is interesting, nicely presented, and delicious. Standouts for me from our visits were a roasted sweet corn pasta dish (in the summer) and the lamb pasticcio (on the autumn menu). The pasta came in a watery broth, which I wasn't expecting but found wonderfully... More
