I had shrimp scampi and the wife had Mac-n-cheese with pulled pork. Both were very good and the staff were some of the nicest we’ve encountered in quite a while.

It's off season here at Smuggler's Notch Resort where we are staying for a week. All of the restaurants on site are closed, so we had to venture out for dinner on the nights we didn't stay in to cook. So few restaurants are open...in the area at this time of year that I honestly didn't expect much. We came upon this place simply because it was close and open. Boy did we ever stumble upon a gem! We liked it so much that we came twice during our week's stay here. The atmosphere is very casual and you wouldn't expect the food to be chef-prepared. The menu offered a nice variety and there were nightly specials that we opted to order on both nights. They did not disappoint. It should also be noted that the service was great both nights. Our servers were knowledgeable about the menu and were very friendly. Hats off to them and the chef!More

We really liked our food except that we ordered bread with maple butter, for all the way home to discover we were given mayonnaise (after lathering and eating the bread) Haha - gross! Went all the way back and was given butter but had to...ask for new bread. Otherwise great service and food.More

Just had an excellent dinner in an informal setting. Difficult to choose from the menu. I had a delicious shrimp scampi with a nicely-seasoned Asiago risotto and my husband enjoyed his house made pulled pork nachos. I couldn’t help taking a taste or two. Memorable....We started with a very good Caesar salad. Definitely worth a visit.More

Martell's offers a great menu, amazing cocktails, wine and a very good beer list. They also have live entertainment that allows you to dance and have a wonderful time. Love Martell's.

This was our first time at Martell's just two miles from smugglers notch where we stayed.Even on a Tuesday evening in quiet week there was several people and a good atmosphere. Food was nice. Obviously a music place, had a small stage for live music...use for certain evenings.Would certainly go there again.More

I have been to Martells a few times now and each time I am greeted with the most hospitable service and excellent food, even if you’re just there for a drink the bar tenders are gracious and treat you like family. If anyone is in...the area and looking for a place to eat or relax, I would highly recommend Martells at the Red FoxMore

My friend and I took a long weekend to unwind a reboot. We stayed at Smuggs and while driving by the Red Fox caught our eye. It is a great family owned bar. The staff was amazing, welcoming and happy. The food (especially the pork...chops) was amazing! I highly recommend it while vacationing there. Live music, great staff and great food. It’s not far from Smuggs and worth the drive!!!! Thank you for a great weekend!More

If you are near Smugglers Notch this the the very best. The chef does a great job with the menu. And the specials are equally exceptional. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. The staff is delightful. It has a real local feel but strangers...fit right in. Live music is a huge plus. It starts towards the end of the dinner rush and features top talent. But the best part are the bartenders and the food.More

We decided to sit at the bar for a light dinner. The barmaid was so friendly and attentive. Conversation was enjoyable. Their wings were awesome. The mussels' broth was extremely delicious. Would return for sure.
