We anticipated our return to dine here since we planned our trip. Sometimes when you revisit it's not the same as you remember but happy to say that Chef Raphael did not disappoint! We arrived early as we know it gets crowded and busy for...dinner. The maple chipotle wings were flavourful, crispy yet juicy and tender. The mussels were also plump and plenty. Our salad was large enough for more than two of us. Flank steak and pork chops were as we remembered delicious! Thank you and we look forward to our next visit.More

On a recent trip to see snow I settled on Vermont largely because it's such a great "foody" state. Besides being the craft beer capital, it's emphasis on naturally grown, locally produced food ingredients at most restaurants (at least in small rural areas like Jeffersonville)...made the decision easy. The Family Table Restaurant was the best of a number of excellent restaurants I ate at while visiting. It had a full bar including at least ten locally brewed craft beers and it's menu was surprisingly broad in appeal. It serves very good classic and comforting American appetizers and entrees and desserts with a Vermontian style, that includes among other things a creative use of maple extracts where appropriate (like the grilled pork chop I had) and the cream of mushroom soup was unlike any other (and better.) The service was very friendly and hospitable too. This restaurant alone is a reason I may go back to Jeffersonville again, which is saying a lot considering I live in Miami.More

My husband and I stopped there for lunch - just decided to give it a try and my husband said he had the best chili and I had very nice salad. And the bonus is good beer . All that was served by very friendly...lady. So, when I am in that area again I will stop by.More

We arrived to a full restaurant, but a gracious waitress re-organized the wait list and table configurations so that all the folks waiting got tables. She warned us the wait might be long (it was) but the food was worth it. And appetizers and fresh...bread and butter and endless pitchers of water and offers of drinks helped pass the time. The blackened chicken pasta was SO good, and incredibly generous portions. I had the scallops, which were perfectly seared, over bacon and Brussels sprouts. My pickiest child rated the chicken fingers 9/10 for their crisp outside and juicy, steaming chicken breast inside. The filet steak was perfectly cooked. Our waitress was cheerful and friendly, and made the meal even more pleasant. Great food, I'll definitely return when we pass through Jeffersonville again.More

On our recent stay in VT, we stayed in Burlington and went snow tubing at Smugglers Notch. We hit up Family Table on the way back from the slopes for lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised. It took a while for our food to come...out, but it was excellent and the staff was very friendly.More

Our family ate here because we were looking for a reasonably priced restaurant near Smugglers Notch. The restaurant doesn’t look like much from the road and I am sure many pass it by. Inside we were pleasantly surprised by the very friendly staff and great...service. The food was terrific and well priced. What a great experience.More

This restaurant is next to a gas station with similar exterior decor, but it is not affiliated and definitely not a gas station restaurant. Very good food and nicer atmosphere but still family-friendly. Food and service were great, and prices were reasonable for the quality...of the food.More

Hi! I'm sorry, but we are not open for Thanksgiving. It's the one time of year we close so that we can transition between the seasons. Have a great visit to VT and we hope to see you on another trip.
