I got a dirty look from the waitress when I pointed out that you need at least two pancakes (rather than one) to make up a "short stack." I didn't really mean or say it with anything like malice, it's just that I write professionally...and I suppose the editor in me was coming out. Anyway, I got a good glaring down for my trouble followed by a breakfast that made me violently ill about a half hour after we'd finished. Now -- to be fair -- I can't say -- there was malice from the Broken Yoke involved. Maybe it was just bad hygiene. But they were definitely the cause of my distress..More

We have been here many times-absolutely amazing every time. Definitely try the eggs Benedict Florentine-best I have ever had. Also caramel French toast is awesome

Despite the small size, the food was delicious. We had their French toast which was one of the best we have ever had. It was like being in breakfast heaven.

This restaurant is small. They are open for breakfast and lunch only. The menu is limited, with a few breakfast and lunch options. But the food tasted good, and it is not expensive.

We waited 45 minutes for breakfast and everything was burnt. There was only one other table in the restaurant that was served when we got there so not sure why the delay. No explanation for why they served burnt food. They offered to re cook...everything but we didn’t have another 45 minutes to waste. Terrible place to go. We paid $22 for one bite of yuk. Owner needs to be thereto watch employees or they will tank your business.More

We were staying at the resort in Smugglers Notch and came here for breakfast one morning. Cute little spot (a bit of a challenge to find) but worth the effort. Good food at a fair price and the folks are super nice as well.

I've been here a couple of times, and each time, I'm thoroughly impressed. From the coffee to the gourmet brunch plates (eggs Benedicts & loaded French toast), this place is fantastic!

Only go here if you have LOTS of time. The wait is worth it though. We will be back on our next trip to the area.

Tucked in behind Smugglers Notch Inn is a cozy little spoke with 5 star food. We had driven past this place so many times and sorry to say hadn't stopped in sooner. The menu had many benedicts to choose from and some other wonderful sounding...menu choices. On the trip I just had to try the Maple Praline French Toast with fresh fruit. It did not disappoint! Wonderful bread covered in a silky smooth maple praline sauce with walnuts....to die for! The Eggs Benedict was wonderfully presented and has a creamy hollondaise sauce with perfectly browned home fries ( I judge all of our breakfast spots by their home fries and these were some of the best I have had) Cannot wait to return!More

Stayed at Smuggler's Notch and this spot was recommended for breakfast. Had a little hard time finding it since it is actually on the side of the building and there aren't good signs indicating it is there. It's a small place but the food is...scrumptious. My husband and I had omlets but we vowed to come back for the pecan maple french toast. It looked marvelous! Wait staff was very friendly and the coffee was great. Restaurant uses mostly all local products in their dishes. Fresh, fresh, fresh!!More

Any meal that comes with a couple dilled green beans and a spicy pickle is off to a very good start! My Philly cheese steak was excellent - great bread, and sweet yellow peppers. The home fries looked good, but getting a salad instead proved...to be an excellent choice - the side salad was large and fresh and flavorful. The art on the walls was fun to see too.More

I would not patronize this business. we found hairs in our omelette . We sent it back and asked to be replaced which they did. But when the bill came they were still charging us for an omelette. when we confronted the owner he asked...was there anything wrong with the second and if there wasn't anything wrong then you should pay me for that second. We said we didn't think that we had to pay for the second because the first one had to be redone because there's hair in it He told us that we were being unreasonable and we were trying to get free food. BTW. He had a full beard As we were leaving he said swore something about Finng customersMore

Friends told us to check this place out during our stay at Smugglers Notch & boy did it deliver. Eggs benedict is my favorite & now there’s is my number 1! Between us we got the Florentine benny, Cornbeef hash benny & the crab benny...and every one was delicious. Service is a little bit slow because there is one man making all the food but it wasn’t long at all for our group of five and after eating, I would have waited double the time for the food!More
