Good pizza and quick turnaround. A good place to stop for pizza while on Vt-30. There are benches right outside for you to eat outside and a few tables inside.

Just driving around one day and saw this place. We were pleasantly surprised. We ate before at honey-pie across the street and it was pathetic, worse flimsy, small and thin, worse burger ever, so we were hoping this place was good and boy was it. Awesome large, juicy burgers w homemade fries. Very tasty. The Chinese food looked great too. We also got a pizza to go for later and that looks great. This place deserves more action then Honeypie. We will definitely come back to try the Chinese and breakfast sandwiches.

I live in southern Vermont and only just stopped here for the first time since it opened. Wow I’ve been missing out. Legitimate NYC thin crust pizza and NYC Chinatown quality Asian food. The best of both worlds hidden in Rawsonville, VT. There was also a breakfast menu on their chalkboard that looked awesome. I’m definitely a devout customer from here on out.

We visited family kitchen based on the excellent reviews that we saw online. These initial reviews were for Fran’s kitchen but when we arrived at the restaurant we noticed that they had crossed out Frans kitchen on the menu and called it Family kitchen. I assume that the restaurant has recently changed hands and that “Fran” is no longer the owner. When we first entered the restaurant we noticed how dirty it looked. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. The service was terrible - it looked like a married couple owned the place, with the husband cooking and the wife serving the tables. The coffee tasted like it was instant powder coffee. The food took 30 minutes to arrive and was very greasy. Then, the check arrived with all kinds of hidden extra charges. Dirty restaurant, poor service, greasy and overpriced food. The next day my two children had severe stomach upsets. Do not go here!

Love this place. Usually I have to fly to SE Asia to get such great Asian meal. Thank you Fran! Outstanding pad Thai and pizza. Great taste and big portions. Was the next day dinner too

Looking for a place for lunch, we happened upon this small, unassuming restaurant and decided to give it a try. The place is spotless, the owner friendly and helpful, and most importantly, our food was prepared to order and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised when Fran suggested that their portions were large and perhaps we only needed one entree, not something one expects to hear from a restaurant owner. In fact that was not sufficient for us, so we supplemented our lemon chicken dish with two orders of dumplings. The meal was excellent and came in at $25 for the two of us.

I was returning from Portsmouth NH on a motorcycle to upstate NY, and trying to work around quagmire of Vermont summer road construction. Rather randomly found myself a few miles north of Jamaica VT. It was in the mid 90s and humid and I really needed to stop. So stopped here. They had AC. They had pizza, assorted breakfast sandwiches, and mainly Thai sorts of noodle and rice dishes. Ordered drunken noodles with tofu. Wow. Just like being there. Not oily. Big flavor. Just brilliant. Someone else ordered a pizza to go, and can say it looked good. But has to the best noodles outside of NY or Boston. And certainly just as good as noodles I have had in those places. Or Bangkok for that matter.

Our large family was renting a house on Stratton Mountain last weekend. While shopping at the wonderful Winhall Market, the staff referred us to Fran's Kitchen for pizza for dinner. My husband & I pre-ordered & later picked up 7 pizzas from Fran's Kitchen. The next day while shopping once again at Winhall Market, staff recognized us & stated that Fran realized we were overcharged by $35 & wanted to reimburse us. What honesty & integrity that is unheard of in this day & age!!! Thank you Fran, your pizza is delicious, but your character is outstanding!!! We will def be back to Stratton next year & def be back to Fran's Kitchen as well!!!

Fran uses quality ingredients and makes authentic Asian cuisine, a rarity in these parts. Clean restaurant, great food, and friendly service. Definitely worth a stop.

We went to an antique shop on Rt 5 in Vermont and we were both hungry so we started looking around for a place to eat. We came upon Fran's Kitchen on Rt. 30 and decided it looked good. There is not a lot of places to eat out there so we were very happy to find a place that was good and well as looking very local. We enjoy our food and the people that took our order were very friendly!

Excellent breakfast sandwiches and omelettes. Everything was fresh, hot, and not greasy/oily at all. The place was simple and clean. Very nice staff too. A must-visit if you’re in the area.

This is a very basic diner but the food was quite good. Good, fresh eggs and good coffee. Generous portions and fast service. Probably the best breakfast option in this area.

Open 8-8 wed-sun this place might be the most eclectic place I have ever seen. Tacos only on saturday. On a hot sunday they eventually ran out of everything but pizza. The asian selections looked very appetizing. They had gluten free (gf) pizza and could make the fried rice gf, and were willing to put together a couple of eggs with some cheese and bacon in a container for gf breakfast. The other kids enjoyed the pancakes. We had take-out.

Stopped by Frans for a kwik bite on our way to Manchester. A small restaurant with good breakfast items, fast and friendly service and quite reasonably priced. We are happy we chose to stop. Will stop in again when returning to the area.

Fran's is a perfect melding of authentic Asian creations along with outstanding American favorites. Fran's prepares breakfast as well as lunch and dinner specialties.Breakfast pancakes, real maple syrup, ham and bacon that taste like ham and bacon. The BLT on local breads was just amazing. To add to the perfect food presentation, Fran's has hand cut French Fries with sandwiches and home made chips that are just perfect. When searching for antiques in this area of Vermont - do not forget this fantastic spot for a healthy lunch, outstanding Vermont typical service, and in an area where every member of your part may savor the lunch of their choice.
