The pizza was thin crust. They only off 10 inch or 14 inch pies. It was $20 for the 14 inch pie. The veggies we got on the pizza were so fresh! The 14 inch gave one person 5 slices and the other person 4....It was NOT greasy so you didn't feel gross or sick after eating it.More

We enjoyed dinner here during our stay. Pizza looked amazing but we chose fish and chicken entrees - very well prepared. We were going to go back for pizza on night #2 but they were closed (closed on Wednesdays). Not to be missed! My husband...is gluten-free (celiac) and they took care of him as well. We felt we could trust the kitchen.More

I thought the pizza was of good quality. It’s not the most venturing pizza place but it’s definitely worth a try. I’ll be back soon!

We were driving to Waitsfield and found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It was hard to get through - cell reception is terrible. That being said - the fries were amazing and the pizza was good. It did take a long time for our order...to be ready even though we called from the road. If we are ever in this area again we would try it again.More

Food arrived after a forever wait ... not even warm. Called the waitress over, sent the food back. You would think it would be piping hot when it came back. Nope, barely warm. It wasn't that good anyway. We ate about half. The waitress did...apologize and took $3 off our bill. The bar was full, so I think the locals like that. Restaurant left a lot to be desired.More

We stopped in for lunch on a recent road trip through Vermont! What a great find! Tucked into a small town downtown, Positive Pie was serving up big flavors with a great atmosphere! We sat at the bar and got great service. The local bartender...helped us pick a brew we would like. Then, we ordered pizzas! A margarita and a sausage ricotta were selected and then enjoyed! The crust had a nice crunch and the toppings were plentiful! I also saw they had a vast selection of pizza by the slice. Nice option, but we were starving, so went big! This was an excellent stop! Enjoy it!More

We had dinner with a friend at the Positive Pie recently. We were there on a Monday night so it was not crowded but have heard it can be very busy on weekends. It is a sports bar/pub atmosphere which doesn't impress on the exterior...but inside it is pleasant, easy-going and informal. The main menu item is pizza with quite a few selections. However we didn't have pizza and ordered other entree items - we had salmon, fish and chips and a shrimp Greek salad. All these were generous portions and well prepared. The salmon was excellent and done properly and not dried out. The fish and chips offered a very large piece of crispy fish and the salad was fresh with a good portion of shrimp. The service was good and prompt. I would recommend this for a good dinner and next time we'll have the pizza.More

We stopped here on our way to Stowe not knowing anything about it. We were so glad we stopped. It has a cool, urban atmosphere. The pizza was one of the best pizzas we have ever had. And it wasn't very expensive. You can watch...them cook food in the wood stove. Recommended!More

The atmosphere is pub-ish, with the obligatory TV's on above the bar (but thankfully with no sound). We did not have pizza, but tried some of their many other Italian dishes. The shrimp scampi was nicely done, not over-garlicked. The salmon was excellent. The service...was attentive and accommodating. The ambient noise was a shade on the loud side, but relatively low compared to most Italian restaurants. Old people were able to converse across the table without yelling. All in all a very nice experience.More

We were in town for a massage and decided to stop in Positive Pie. It looked very dingy on the outside but was even worse on the inside. To say drab is an understatement, but we ventured in anyway. They had just lost their electricity,...so we asked if we could get a drink and pay by cash. The young man said he would need to check with the bartender, who was sitting at the bar. So, we waited, and waited...... he finally said yes. Then we asked if they could warm up a slice of pizza for us. He wasn't "sure" (the oven had flames)...finally he said he could. It was beginning o feel like we were in their way. The electric came back on and 2 young girls came and and ordered pizza to go with drinks to go. The bartender came immediately over to them and then shooed them away when they tried to pay for their order! Hmmmmm We forced down the reheated pizza and I ordered a martini. The atmosphere was very, very odd. A lot of locals were hanging out. We felt like outcasts! When I got my bill. I was charged $14.00 plus tax for 1 martini!!!! I could not believe my eyes. I asked the server if this was right, and she said yes. I said, we aren't in New York City we are in Hardwick. She just smiled. Never again. Other than being overcharged for a drink, the place was just dirty and the staff rude.More

A Secret Santa mission to Hill Farmstead Brewery included lunch in a warm and wonderful ... bistro? Pizza Bistro then! Claude, Mae welcomed us and directed us on the menu. Incredible wild Haddock with hand cut golden brown fries. I swear the fries were right...out of childhood treats from Pat’s Diner in the 1960s. Meanwhile my wife never ever orders Fish ‘n Chips. “How can I order them again if this is the benchmark I may never hit again?” Wing Commander went for the pulled pork. Beautiful and worth a repeat. To be honest, we would return for the wild Haddock. A bouquet of yummy with this incredible hit of salt passes across your tongue as the bell for paradise goes off in your head. Can I add wow to yummy. Q-Trip: Hop and skip to the Brewery while Farmstead draught is on tap right here at the bar.More
