Stopped here first on our trip to Grafton. Nice little lunch menu and everything that we had tasted delicious. The sweet potato tart, salad and ham sammie were yummy. We stopped by the next day to pick up some cheese and preserves to take home.

Mack's Place is a gem. The sandwich and salad offerings are vast. Everything is super fresh and delicious. This is a great place to grab some food to go as there are not many alternatives in the area. While you're there, go to the front of the building and sample the superb cheeses sold at the Grafton Cheese Company. They... More

Stopped during outing on a cheese store since it was right next door to the Grafton cheese shop. The place had just opened and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I hope they make it. We had varied items including grilled cheese, sandwiches and egg sandwich. Price OK, pretty much what I expect for the area. Had some fresh... More

Great lunch place, while travelling the Vermont byways. All sorts of options available to custom-build your own favourite lunch! Also a shop, offering many local delicacies - Apple Butter, Maple Syrup etc etc. Very efficient and friendly staff.

We loved this place, I had the special ... heirloom tomatoes on flatbread with argula, bacon and not sure what else. The flavors were wonderful. Husband had the turkey soup and a wild rice salad, very good. Ate outside on the patio on a lovely day and relishing the fact we were retired and could enjoy this. Went for a... More

Great sandwiches. Ate outside on a beautiful day. Just a nice, clean and friendly place. Good choice for a snack as the Grafton Inn doesn't offer lunch.

First and foremost, take the chef's recommendation. This is a small café with a limited menu. Based upon the chef / cashier recommended, I had the BLT on white bread (homemade) and enjoyed the sandwich immensely. The other people I was with, however, had other items from the menu and found both sandwich's bland. The other issue / complaint with... More

We found the sandwiches to be very tasty and reasonably priced. This was surprising since there is only one place to eat lunch and Grafton is a tourist mecca. I would recommend it even if it wasn't the only spot in town.

Clearly this place has a lunch time monopoly. Instead of making that an asset and making it special, here you get poor food, rude "service" and higher than warranted prices. While Grafton is a lovely village, go someplace else to eat if you find this is the only place open.

Perfectly adequate sandwich and salad spot right next to the Grafton Inn. Friendly staff, very nice chef's salad.
