I have eaten breakfast here twice, and each time it was just perfect. First time I had eggs bacon potatoes toast - super yummy. Next time I daringly tried the eggs benedict florentine. Cant even describe how surprisingly delicious. Not to be missed.

Okay...I'll preface this by saying that I don't eat red meat, and I haven't for decades. It's a health thing. One thing I expect from a menu is an accurate description of what's in a dish. My son and I, travelling through Vermont on the way to visit relatives, found ourselves near the town of Fairlee, Vt. around lunch time.... More

I've been going here for an occasional weekend breakfast for 15 years and it is still the same. Good food with an ample portion, same chef, same waitresses. There are booths and there is a counter. A classic country diner. When I'm at my cabin and feel like treating myself, this is the place. They also serve lunch and diner... More

This is my favorite place for breakfast. You can get great pancakes and get real maple syrup included if you buy particular breakfasts. Also, they have a pulled pork omelet at times that is excellent. Occasionally I will eat there for lunch and have homemade beans and hot dogs. Get there early if you want breakfast on weekends. They are... More

We visited here about 3 years ago on our way to Maine. The Fairlee Diner is still the BEST! Easy going & local we had the special, a hot pork open faced sandwich.

This is the real deal. And old diner with fresh, hot food. They do breakfast and lunch and, as the sign says, "Open 7 Days a Week - Closed Tuesday." You can't get any more home town than that. Everything is good but the blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup are the best!!!

Right out of the past. Nothing fancy, but the food is great - excepting the French Fries which are on the greasy side. My wife and I have enjoyed eating there several times and were never disappointed. Good sized portions, but I have to say, the prices seem to be creeping up rather rapidly over the years.

Looking for a place to eat on our journey across N.H. we stopped In Fairlee, Vermont and asked a local at a gas station. He told us about this family restaurant. The food, marinated chicken with mashed potatoes and hot dogs with homemade baked beans, was wonderful. It is a tiny place with 6 or 7 booths and a counter... More

My friend and I were directed to this cute and quaint little dinner that hugs the highway on the Vermont side of the Connecticut River with the warning that we might be able to get in as the seating is very limited. We were fortunate to arrive when there were still a couple of booths open. The dining area consists... More
