We have always had good experiences here! great value too! I always get a wrap and it lasts for 2 meals, or I share with my daughter.

Yummy quality food every time! Great homemade soups and cookies! Huge wonderful sandwiches (so many choices) and real homemade bread. Fantastic place to buy dinner too - great meats, homemade salads and the best twice baked potatoes! You can eat in or take out (great place to get a meal for a picnic/hike).

No skimping here! One of the best places in Chittenden County to get a sandwich. Fresh homemade bread, freshly cut meat, cheese and veggies. Large variety and delicious sandwich creations. Enjoy the relaxed and warm atmosphere as you are surrounded by the original architecture of brick and wood floors. One of my favorite places for lunch. Advice: You better be... More

For a quick sandwich lunch, Martone's is great. You order at a counter and have great choices to go on your sandwiches. And they are huge! Certainly half a sandwich is more than ample for all but those with gargantuan appetites.

Nothing bad to say about Martones. We love all their subs. Cookies were also pretty good. Can't wait to go again

Everyone already knows about their fabulous sandwiches but I wanted to mention their pastries, especially the apple cranberry scone. It was, without doubt, the best scone I've ever eaten. It had a wonderful texture, was flavorful and very moist. Typically, scones are usually dry and this one was perfect. It was large enough for 3 people. Sandwiches are expensive but... More

We had visited Martone's many times in the past and had great sandwiches, but had not for several years. We decided to re-visit this past week and were extremely disappointed. The sandwiches were quite full of (salty) deli meat (we had turkey) with a minimal amount of dressing on the bread (couldn't even taste it/hardly see it). The edges of... More

They are expensive but good. I have gone in a couple of times and they are forever running out of things. One time, I picked out 4 things before they said they had it. It is very discouraging. The food is good but very expensive.

Pretty much any combo of cold cuts you can think of. Outrageously large sandwiches. A whole sandwich just about feeds a family of four if you can agree on which sandwich you want. Had a half of their egg salad with bacon. Very good.
