This restaurant provides fine dining, with a wide variety of dishes. There is a smaller dining room with fewer choices. I like the bigger one. The table next to ours had issues with a meat dish, and the two of us who had salads were very disappointed, because each were absolutely SWIMMING in vinegar. Maybe half an inch at the... More

5-6 pm gather around the chef's table and be treated to outstanding appetizers for only $10. It was a wonderful experience watching the chefs create unique and scrumptious appetizers for us to enjoy. We ordered our favorite drink there, a french martini. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I drove quite a bit out of our way to dine at we thought was the restaurant still associated with the New England Culinary Institute. We called and spoke to the reservation staff at both the restaurant and the resort and stated how excited we were to return to the wonderful food served by the students of... More

Food was fresh and cooked right in front of us. Chef Ben is very well travelled and shared some great tips (especially pairing wine with food).

We were the only ones at our seating and were treated to an amazing nine-course meal with wine pairings. It was incredible watching Chef Cameron create each course, and he did a great job of explaining the ingredients (mostly from the garden at The Essex), what he was doing with them and why. We enjoyed every part of our visit... More

This was a fun experience. Unfortunately we did not like a lot of the food that was served. Not that it wasn't good. Just that it would not have been what we normally would have ordered. We don't eat rabbit and hate anchovies. We had both served to us the night we attended. But it was a fun experience and... More

This is an experience I won't forget. The food was incredible - every course was better than the one before. It's like having a personal chef - catering just to you.

To sit and chat with a friendly, top-notch chef while he prepares course after course of mind-blowingly amazing food for you is an experience we'll never forget. Pricey, but worth every penny!
