What can I say, but a visit to the Foggy Google is always a great time. The service is great, the food is great, the drinks are great and Sarah and Dan are really great too. The Foggy is just one of the best places...to go for dinner. And if you like pizza, you won’t find a better selection of original styles sure to please.More

A good sauce is the key to making the effort to get some pasta outside of the comfort of your home. They do well with the sauce . The service is very local , warm and right to the point. They remember you . Was...a great warm visit when it was winter.More

I called ahead and asked if I needed a reservation. I was told that I should easily find a spot at the bar. Fine. I get there and it is packed. No spots at bar. They very nicely find me seat at what I think...was the servers station. It was quite low and I barely fit. I got a beer and then got forgotten. 10-15 minutes later bartender asks if I want anything. I order some apps and they then found me a spot at the other end of bar. Which was good because I was inadvertently blocking their entrance and my leg was falling asleep from being jammed After all that the women next to me gets up and leaves. And now I actually have a spot. Great food. Being crowded in East burke Vermont is a bit of an oxymoron but this is good if you own the place. I will be back. The food was great the beer was cold. A bit of a pain. Just don’t go during the holidaysMore

We have been enjoying the Foggy Goggle since it opened and continue going for the great food, wonderful staff and fun cozy atmosphere. The menu has a variety of options that satisfies whether you are in the mood for a great burger or a delicious...non-meant option. It feels like Sara and Dan were thoughtful and concious of the diverse people that not only make the Northeast Kingdom their home but the variety of people that visit for hiking, biking or leaf-peeping. If you find yourself in East Burke or the greater Lyndonville area you need to make a reservation for dinner at the Goggle! And if you like and eclectic beer selection you and some friends should try Thursday $3 drafts!More

Small but cute place. It was Mexican night and they had a whole Mexican menu but I figured if I was in an Italian place I had to order Italian so I got the spaghetti with meatballs and it was absolutely delicious. The service was...great and so was the foodMore

We stopped in for dinner this past weekend. The seafood chowder was delicious, as was the blueberry tort. I also enjoyed the Chicken Rustica. Entree portion size was moderate; I had room for more. The waitress was very good. Would happily repeat.

The Foggy Goggle is a delightful family-run hidden gem truly just off the beaten track, in East Burke Vt, a few yards up and around the corner from Route 114. Sarah, the owner, was very much in evidence to make sure that her guests were...happy with the tasty fare as it was served. This converted house is not formal, but it is well organized in its layout of a variety of high and standard tables, with both patio and indoor seating. The foggy Goggle can well accommodate simultaneously groups ranging from bikers and children just off there trail to couples seeking a quiet corner for great food. The shrimp scampi was delicious, as were the fresh salads and scallops. The Key Lime pie was the lightest we have ever tasted. Terrific evening for us!1More

Wow, what a find! We’re road-tripping in Vermont and this was open on Sunday night. Awesome Italian food, wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. They get a tin of bicyclists and skiers, so no worries about dress code. For a small, rural town this easily compares to...much pricier, comparable fare back home in Chicago. We have one more night here and returning tonight for their “Mexican Night”. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻More

My family had a house in East Burke, VT for over 30 years where we were heavily invested in the Winter skiing and the Nation's leading Ski Racing Academy, BMA. The local economy has historically been deeply intwined with the ups and downs of the...Skli Industry. The mountain has suffered 4 bankruptcies and is in Receivership as I write this. I give this background because historically it has been very difficult to sustain a quality restaurant in the area. The dramatic positive change in the local economic environment has been brought about by in the introduction and the successful development of what is now considered one of the country's leading Mt Biking venues! This sport is enjoyed all four seasons. Enter the Foggy Goggle Osteria restaurant, started by the former director of food services of the Ski Racing School, BMA. The restaurant is tucked back off the main street in the center of East Burke Village. The food was flavorful and healthy. Service was personable and attentive. I asked the waitstaff my favorite restaurant query: "If this is the only time in my life that I have the opportunity to eat here, what would you recommend?" Without a moment of hesitation she replied: " the Bolognese!" She was right on. I was delighted to see the town full of healthy, athletic Mt Bikers. A piece of my heart and spirit has always been in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, and I am so gratified that there is a sustainable substance to it's future, and one that will ensure the survivability and success of the Foggy Goggle Osteria!More

Nestled just off the main road in tiny townand in a renovated farmhouse, the Foggle Goggle is a delightful little place. Hi-top tables line the bar and fill one room. An adjacent dining room has standard table seating. (I always go for the hi-tops.) Great...cocktails, a selection of wine by the glass and beer on tap. Appetizers, pub fare, pizzas or full entrees offer choices sure to please. I hear the desserts are great, too. Treat yourself to an all around great night out!More
