Enjoyed a great burger here after skiing. We have visited this restaurant many times over the past 30 plus years, multiple owners, the ambience always makes us feel good. Michelle took good care of us even though they had an unexpected bus arrive. Don't come...here looking for a quiet dinner, this is a pub with great draft selections, good food, and happy people. The special bread pudding got my husband's mark as the best ever.More

The people serving and hosting were pleasant. The ambiance about what one would expect at the bottom of a ski slope. The bartender didn't know how to make a decent martini, but, then again, maybe martinis are rarely ordered there - more of a comfort...food and beer kind of place for the ski crowd. So, overall, not a bad experience though none of us enjoyed our meal, ate just enough to be fed and left the leftovers. Not for a date night or special occasion. We wish there were some fine dining places in the area but understand the economics of it.More

We’ve had two good dinner experiences here. Good selections to fit pretty much any tastes and the food was tasty! Great ambiance with the old barn.

Our son attends NVU-Lyndon. Several of his classmates had spoken highly of the restaurant so we decided to try it. It was a great dining experience. Great meals for all three of us. We will definitely be returning.

...and whenever you're not that hungry, you never feel as great about whatever you end up picking at. So please take that as a caveat to my review. The place bills itself as a "mountain gastropub" and is one of very few places in tiny...East Burke that serve more than ice cream, smoothies or breakfasts. It was very crowded the Sunday night we were there. It's in a very large old barn or some such edifice, and has a somewhat unique ambience for the hipster-rustic mode (e.g., rather dim inside, lit by both warm, cozy yellow light and with rafters garlanded by cool white LED holiday light strands; the entryway had no light at all - you truly are in the rustic mountains here). I found the menu to be a bit limited, but remember, I wasn't very hungry and nothing was jumping out at me. In the end I got simply the poutine (because I like to try everyone's poutine) which was fine (and made me two meals - but remember, I wasn't hungry..yeah, yeah, yeah). More to the point for those seeking a real review, my husband had the sirloin tips and said they were great. He ordered them medium rare and they were rare, which is a rare (no pun intended) occurrence - much of the time when we order anything rare or medium rare there is no pink visible (some restaurants don't even want to risk rare; I once had a chef come out and tell me that while he himself preferred rare, he really didn't feel free to cook [or undercook] beef that way for customers). So, bottom line, this is a satisfactory spot for dinner, (which I someday wish to visit when actually hungry).More

Looks like an old barn and feels like very rustic Vermont. Inside is very charming and the menu offered many choices including vegan.

The owner of the place I was staying at recommended this place so I came by for dinner. The building looks like an old barn and inside is very charming with lots of cool decor and a mountain bike on the ceiling! Very cool place

My family and I stayed in town for mountain biking at KT. We were looking for a quick dinner nearby and tried this place. Service was pretty quick, no wait. Food was good, like others said, similar to bar food. Could have used a little...more attention from our waitress, but we had no problems. The only thing I could say to make this any better is better side options. When mountain biking for days and days, having fried food sitting in the stomach doesn't feel good at all and does nothing to help with performance. They seem to mainly offer chips as their sides, otherwise i did notice some had fries. Some steamed veggies, salad, or such would fit a little better for the more active community that seems to fill up here. Just a suggestion. This didn't make or break it for me. I'd visit again and recommend to others.More

The service was just so so. The menu nothing special. Regular bar food. The restaurant was not very clean. It was over all disappointing. If you're looking for a great meal go elsewhere.
